Always exceptional food. Lovely owners that take a pride in the food they serve. The burgers are awesome and the chips are some of the best in Auckland.
Still the BEST fish and chips I've eaten! We live out west and favour this takeaways over many fnc places we've tried over the last 3 years. Tried the deep fried Mars bar too - yum!!

Unbelievable, for fresh large pieces of terakihi fish or schnapper ,either breadcrumbed or battered they cannot be faulted. delicious light crispy chips.
Our favorite fish and chip place in the area. Snapper is fresh and always nicely cooked, and the chips are yum! Service is quick too.

Yesterday, Saturday evening we saw a HUGE number of people, back to back, picking up orders. As a result we searched for & then read many glowing reviews of Riddell Takeaways. Tonight we decided to try their Fish & Chips. Wow, truly Riddell Takeaways has the BEST fish & chips. Plus, they offer the best food at the best price we've found anywhere in Meadowbank, Glenn Innis, Remuera, Mt. Wellington, Mission Bay or Kohimarama.
Excellent fries Excellent banana fritter Potato fritters left a lot to be desired - no fluffy batter. Heart breaking. Otherwise, clean and quick service
This has to be the slowest takeaways in all of Auckland! Only 2 people working, I suspect husband and wife duo and they are so slow. They work on one order at a time. 40 minute wait when told it would take 25mins. Only 8 orders in front of mine. Ridiculous! This the second time we have tried them and had the same experience. Obviously too cheap to hire more staff. Will not be going back again.
Great fish n chips. Pays to phone your order in as they are so busy
