Ordered pizza from Ricky D’s Pizza on the 29th of December, 2022. We ordered the satay chicken small, garlic small and BBQ meat lovers large. The prices were high … $13-15 for a small pizza…. We understand Corowa is a small town that may not be in close proximity to affordable ingredients, but these prices are still a little high. The size of the small pizza was extremely small. I would feel deceived if I had ordered this without seeing the pan sizes in person. Most of the toppings, especially the cheese, were piled in the middle, not spread out evenly. The BBQ meat lovers lacked flavour… needs more BBQ sauce and less ham. The garlic and satay chicken pizzas were enjoyable to eat. Some of the edges were burnt. The pizzas were also a little greasy, probably due to too much cheese or the quality of the cheese. Maybe look into using a low moisture cheese. The store was clean and appeared hygienic. The service was fine. The wait time was approximately 20 minutes, which wasn’t a concern for us. Indoor seating was available. We noticed most of the staff were young, which we will take into consideration. Practice makes perfect! Will we order pizza from here again? We would give them another chance but wouldn’t order the BBQ meatlovers pizza. Please look at the photos for reference.
I've been using their online delivery system for years, and no issues at all but today's different, been waiting for more than two hours and when I called their phone no one was answering. So I went to the shop myself eventhough I'm feeling under the weather because they've already billed my card $56.50, but only to be told so rudely by the front counter lady with a pink hair that the delivery is on it's way. No apologies at all. The owner who was also there heard me but couldn't be bothered. Such a disappointing behaviour, their customer service used to be good but now it's gone downhill
Horrible Service. Ordering through Online "Delivery Order" wasn't able to Submit an Order until after 6:30pm - kept telling me to come back later. THEN, didn't Arrive until after 8:00pm 45 minute - 1 hour and 10 minute wait. Tried to Order for preferably 4:00pm. No Confirmation Email or anything. Not happy
Ordered 2 small pizzas at 5.45, still hadn’t arrived by 7pm. Called to see when our pizzas would be delivered and was told they are just going in the oven. When I asked how long delivery would be I was told another hour. I advise I couldn’t wait till 8pm and to cancel the order. When I enquired about my refund I was told quite rudely that I would get it when they can get it to me. That was a week ago, still no refund and now trying to get them on the phone.
Order was 3 hours late, after ringing we were told the order was on the way 1 1/2 hours later my husband went to the shop and collected it himself no apology given, no refund on the delivery fee. Food has been cold borderline frozen multiple times. Will not be ordering again ever. Staff were also extremely condescending and told me they had never had a complaint before. If I could give no stars I would.
Customer expectation management is poor. Waiting still after two and a half hours having been given a 1 hour wait time. Nobody answering phones so no idea whats happening. Disappointing as would always rather support locals. Gonna have a toastie and send the pizza back if it ever arrives. Sorry guys I'm hungry. LOL can't even get through to cancel order! Oh hang on! Just arrived now!
First of all ordered at at 5:50 arrived at 8..ordered 10 wings received 6 wings kids started to eat the wings as they were hungry kids said they tasted funny looked at them they were raw!!! Got photos! tried to ring about it over 40 times never answered also photo proof pizzas arrived ice cold. I know you get busy but there is no excuse for raw chicken!!! Very disappointed will be reporting
7.45pm and closed. What's the point of running a take away food business if you're not open at dinner time ???
Not sure why there’s bad reviews on here, maybe they aren’t regular customers? I LOVE my pizza and I LOVE Ricky Ds. Been a regular customer for over two years and won’t get pizza anywhere else now! I get the pizza with the lot, no anchovies it’s the best!!
Waited 1 hour and 45 mins for delivery. No apology for the wait at all. Cold pizza and garlic breads. Undercooked pizza dough. When asked for a refund was told this was not an option. Offered replacements but was told I would be waiting over an hour again.
