Quite a nice place and a welcome shelter out of the weather. Staff are welcoming and friendly. We went on a weekday For lunch and it was packed. There is a view of the ocean and beach but it’s too noisy to be peaceful. Fish and chips were great. Probably some of the best I’ve had. Batter was crisp light and fluffy, fish itself was ok. Calamari was good too. Would probably come back if around the area.
What a beautiful beachside cafe with a great affordable menu. Whether it's a couple of coffees or a full banquet meal, this place can provide it. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the place has a great atmosphere and is really spacious. The covered deck overlooks the sea and is so relaxing - a great place for a romantic meal or drink. The only downside is that it closes early, around 4.30pm Monday to Wednesday and a little later other days. I'll definitely be back!!!
Came here for the first time. Prime location with the outdoor covered dining area facing the ocean. We were noticed immediately from across the room as we waited to be seated per the sign. Although crowded, we received our meals in good time which were both tasty. Many gluten free options. Toilets were clean. On street or paid beach parking available, the latter being about $10 for 90 mins. Staff interaction friendly. A tad pricey but happy to return and try other menu items.
Great beach retreat to have some coffe and food if you in the area. Great service. The food came so quick I thought it was a mistake, but no it was our food. Had the egg Benedict which is Gf and it was great and was served on the sweet potato bedding. Juicy and tasteful. We sat at the annex area which is quite noise - provided it is full of patrons- can’t really hold a conversation with friends. Over all good experience with a good view and refuge from the elements.
It's not often that you find a cafe that has 1. Good service 2. Nice views 3. Great tasting food This place has all 3 plus more! I had the Smashed Avocado with some hashbrows on the side and finished it off with Lemon Meringue Waffles. Food came out fast and was to perfection. The location and view is magnificent.
The perfect cafe by the beach. We ordered the Avocado, Mushroom and 2 eggs on toast with extra sides and they were absolutely delicious and huge portions. Coffee/ milkshakes/ juices were great too and service was extremely quick.
only here for coffee and cake, what a chilling place, so calm, so relax, the cake were okay, but the views definitely the greatest in the area, what you will see is the sea, and some wood. it was a sunny day, the sun go through the ceilingC pretty comfortable.
This is a unique venue catering for those wanting the simpler things in life like coffee and a slice my preference or for the larger group wanting something more substantial. Some beautifully presented dishes I witnessed If you time your visit you should find a seat. Parking is trickier. You can park across beach road or at designated areas beach side further down. On a good weather day take a walk along the path. All round a good experience. Do try it.
Always a lovely selection of cakes and menu items. Staff are very friendly and service is quick. Coffee is very bitter…. Really nice! Indoor and outdoor seating available with nice views either way. This is a family friendly venue.
Nice place and Good food but sooooo~ noisey place I and my friends can talk each other
