Awesome pies...perfect way to start off the day...
I felt like a pie so I rang my nearest bakery’Ricks pie’ I would be a new customer. Google said it closes at 4pm, I wanted to know if they had any pies in the warmer still, given it was so late in the afternoon. My call was answered by Rick the owner, he was very short with me bordering on rude, he would not tell me if he had ANY pies in the warmer! he said “I’m not holding them for you”, which i had no intention of asking anyway. Rick has no interpersonal skills let alone customer service skills......one new customer turned away.
Rick is the easily the best and quietest pie maker in all of Maryborough, Queensland, if not Australia. Open late & the best place to stop after a night out. When the night life in town has closed and you are on your way home, you will know you have arrived at Ricks at the East end of Adelaide St because everyone else will be there lining up there too.
It's only shop is open early for the people you can get sandwiches meat pies sausage rolls flavoured milkand and soft drink and the list goes on . If you ask for a curry pie and the hot and spicy it's hot.. it's not to many places are open early in the morning
The pepper steak pies are fantastic, best on Fraser Coast. I also like the steak and mushroom. Good prices
Absolutely disgusting I've never tasted anything like the sausage rolls I spat it out and the pies the flavor is really weird and way too strong I don't know what they do to their food but I'll never go back this was posted by someone else not by James hung
Sucks that they aren’t open on Sundays but when you google it, it says open. Drove all the way off the highway to try their Pies because they were recommended
Gave 1 star for service, was greeted by a rude sarcastic older woman at counter, didn't bother buying a pie, turned around & walked out
Was great pepper steak pie was really good with real steak and pepper was a good amount of cracked pepper.
Worst pies in Lond... I mean Maryborough... Seriously and whoever drives the truck is a rude s.o.b!!!
