Recently had the pleasure of dining at RiceNGrills on Foster Street, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! The restaurant's location is convenient and easy to find, with ample parking nearby. Upon entering, we were greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere, beautifully decorated to create a cozy yet modern dining space.nnThe menu at RiceNGrills is extensive, offering a diverse range of dishes that cater to all tastes. Starter were cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. For the main course, we ordered the signature RiceNGrills platter, which included a delightful assortment of grilled meats, seafood, and perfectly seasoned rice. Each item was freshly prepared and incredibly delicious, showcasing the chef's expertise in blending spices and flavors.nnWhat truly set this dining experience apart was the outstanding service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely interested in ensuring we had a great meal. They provided excellent recommendations and were more than happy to accommodate our dietary preferences. The food was served promptly, and the portions were generous, offering great value for money.nnThe attention to detail at RiceNGrills is evident in every aspect, from the presentation of the dishes to the cleanliness of the restaurant. It's clear that the team takes great pride in their work, and it reflects in the overall quality of the dining experience.
Been here twice and no disappointments at all. Absolutely love this place, aunthentic South Indian Kerala food. We ordered duck curry, chicken roast, chatti soru, parottas, appams and palada payasam. The duck curry was the best. The chicken roast and payasam was average, both a little too sweet. The rest were all fantastic.
We had a really bad experience at this so called restaurant. What I fell they have done is they cook all curry’s and then freeze it. As the shop is not busy they just keep the food in the freezer. Later when someone one like me who looks at the reviews and visits restaurants. They just put the food in a pot and heat it. It’s a rip off we had water in our chatti choru. It’s from the frozen curry’s have a look at the pic. Please don’t believe reviews.
We loved our experience and food at RiceNGrill. The food is absolutely amazing and took us back to Kerala. We ordered Kizhi porotta, kappa meen, egg puffs and egg gravy with Kerala porotta. The service was impeccable and ‘Shalini’ ensured that our request to include egg curry was honoured. My husband doesn’t eat meat and I had called up a day ahead to check if they could serve egg. We were so happy that they took care of our request. Would recommend this fantastic Kerala restaurant to all my friends and anyone looking to enjoy authentic kerala cuisine. You won’t be disappointed and you are sure to take a trip down memory lane. I must add the songs playing in the background was such a beautiful collection that made me feel nostalgic
