Simple good food, tiny but cosy place, good choices of various pseudo Japanese/Asian cuisine. As of today, back open under the recently announced loosening of the Melbourne COVID-19 restrictions.
Staff were neither rude or polite. A friendly smile or greeting would have been nice. However, service was quick and the food is consistent with other Rice Workshop.
Absolutely love the food from here! And the flavours are so tasty that it's totally reminiscent of our Japan adventure plus it's all very well priced! Ordered the Chicken Katsu Curry, Grilled Chicken with Nori rice and Edamame, plus a side of seaweed salad. Love it!

Very consistency! If you are craving for one of the dishes here, then you are guaranteed to have the taste. My favourite one is Zucchini noodle with teriyaki salmon and the ice cream.
Went to rice works because the create your own option was so delicious. But you don't offer this anymore. The food was not that great, quite ordinary. Won't bother going there again
Upon approach, customer service was mediocre but mostly seemed rude and annoyed. Food was tasteless, but it’s given considering it’s “healthy”. Tried to buy water but it was sold out how can you run out of water lol, Ice cream was also sold out. Would only come back if I have to.
