Conveniently located a short walk from Melbourne University, this is a quick and reliable place for Asian food. As the name would suggest there is a selection of rice dishes including congee as well as noodle dishes. Service is efficient and prices are cheap.

My special fried rice was exactly what I needed. So big I could only eat half. Took the other half back to my desk. Got home at 11:30. Forgot to refrigerate it overnight. Had planned to have it the next day but decided against it. Still, a good meal. Happy memories.
Has been my regular for years - the salted egg yolk chicken rice is a must-try for fans of the dish. Still open during the pandemic for pick up although with shorter operating hours.
Authentic Asian food, wide variety, responsive customer service, trendy crowd and reasonably priced!
The food is not good. Poor quality and too salty. Like supermarket's ready meals. I feel like the staff is rude but not sure if they just don't know English well.
