Was recommended to try out this place by a friend, who told me there was a change of ownership recently and the food is much better than before. We arrived on a Sunday, busy hour dinner time, at around 6:00 pm. The owners, even though busy, were very friendly and helpful. We ordered their recommended ribs, chicken wings and pizza. We then waited about 15 minutes, which is short wait considering cooking time of ribs and pizza, not to mention the busy hour we arrived at. The ribs - Well cooked, well sauced ribs. I must say it would match any Sydney restaurant styled ribs. The chicken - I don't know where the owner buy their chicken wings but they were very juice, tender and delicious. If you are a chicken lover, definitely try out their chicken wings. The pizza - I am personally a pizza lover and tried out pizzas all over Sydney. I have to say, the pizza we got was one of the best pizza I've ever had. I ended up ordering another one to take away. Looks like the new owner have turned this place around. Fantastic food, fantastic service.Ribs Runner has certainly taken off running under new management. 5 stars.
We used to order quite regularly from here, we would get the meal deal which was 2 racks of ribs with wedges and corn, it was around $49 and would easily feed 3 adults. The ribs weren’t amazing but they were a good price. We ordered today the 2 rib meal and when it arrived to our door it was just the ribs on their own, thinking that it was just a mistake we called the shop and the owner tried to tell me they haven’t done that meal deal for over 2 years, which is a flat out lie because we easily order this once a month and have done so for years. I told her this and she said, “well we changed the menu”, to which I asked how she can take away all the sides but still charge the same price, and she replied that I should have checked the menu because they changed it. Pretty dodgy, their average ribs are definitely not worth the price now.
Ordered Beef Ribs + Supreme Pizza and it was PERFECT, mouthwatering melt of the bone juicy ribs with an amazing bbq rib sauce and the pizza tasted like a propper pizza! Food was SUPER HOT and DELICOUS with a very generous portion size! Delivered 15 minutes earlier than expected considering I live over 3 suburbs away that is SUPER impressive! Everyone buys based on reviews these days and all i can say is don't let the rating and and comments always be the judge of the food try it for yourself. I actually feel like some of the reviews on here are fake to send business elsewhere and some arent even relevant but a life story. 10 / 10 will be ordering from here again.
The taste and quality of the food was poor. The food was either flavourless, too greasy or too sweet, depending on the dish. Service was slow. The meal wasn't ready after I spent a leisurely 30min getting there, so I had to wait another 10min for it too be ready. It didn't appear to be a busy night, for them to be late.
I live local, I've ordered nine of the last ten Mondays from rib runner baulkham hills - Always consistently good quality food. Pork ribs are best but hidden gems on the menu are chicken skewers and country special spud. Service is first class. Open on Mondays when many are not. Highly recommended xx
We regularly order food from this place and it’s one of the only shops in the area that stays open late. They also do Uber eats for nights when we’ve had a few to drink. For a decent price, you get consistently fresh and very hot food and the people who work there are also quite friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who’s after a late night meal
So my room mate built me a new pc and I promised him a dank meal to return the favour. I knew what needed to be done. The boys were gonna slay a PHAT stack of ribs each. Home boy goes for that beef life and I’m kicking it classic with the pork. Sixty something dollars and a wealth of anticipation later, the delivery arrives. We rip open the packaging expecting to see half the chest of an animal staring back at us, screaming “EAT ME YOU ALPHA BEAST!!!!”. Instead my heart hits the floor. Despite the fact that the “rack” was in pieces, as if I’d been delivered 3 previous customers’ scraps, the meat to bone ratio was severely lacking. Bland in taste, weak on the sauce and not nearly enough to satisfy me, I force the meal down. Swallowing my dignity with each bite I could feel myself being reduced to a beta. My room mate has since ripped apart my pc and roasted it in the oven. His only explanation? “It can’t be worse then what you fed me last Tuesday.”
Went down to collect my pizza and was made to wait as they hadn't put it in the oven yet...finally get it and its cold and doughy!! Not only have they Jacked the price of their ordinary pizza from 10.95 to pretty much $15 a go but the service is woeful...old management will be sorely missed. Sorry but i will go buy gourmet pizza from milones for that price. Its a shame been a customer there since they opened but not anymore! Dissapointed!
Terrible! Should have read these reviews before ordering. Over 2.5 hours since placing my order and still no sign of the food. I rang them to follow up 45 mins ago and they said that they were busy tonight and the food was being packed to leave the restaurant, have tried calling them back and now they just don't answer the phone. Definitely don't recommend!
I ordered half rack of BBQ pork ribs and 2 chicken wings and it was absolutely beautiful. Fell off the bone and BBQ sauce was perfect!! Highly recommended!!
