We had a large group lunch. About 20 of us. I had salt and pepper squid, excellent as usual. No complaints from anyone in the group. This time we were able to use the private room which was nice. Service was very good. We will return.
Room is clean and tidy even though it's not spacious as I expected. Simple decorations but beautiful. AC and hot water works well Great location which is closed to Adelaide Airport Minus: room is not soundproofing
Stayed here last week as I had an early flight and wanted simply a room... Rooms are good and shower was fantastic. Service was good, food excellent and rooms clean. Definitely recommend this hotel for a stop over and was grateful for the 25% discount on food at their restaurant...Rooms: 4/5
Average service and below average meals. We had been several times before and were happy to come again but disappointed this time. Some of the meals were very poor a couple were returned and the staff were getting the names of the meals wrong. Will think twice about coming again.Service: 2/5
Had roast of the day for dinner, the vegetables were all raw! & I mean raw, not half cooked, meat was tough & meal was barely warm. Very disappointed, has your chef changed recently as last visit about 9 months ago we had a lovely meal!
I had a comfortable stay at the Rex. The room was clean and the people friendly and welcoming. The room was quite small but fair enough for such a good price. The bar and bistro was convenient and the food was good.
After a little bit of confusion about what was and what wasn't Gluten free, and thanks to the delightful young lady named Mel who checked everything and looked after us, the steaks that we had were Very Good. Thanks Mel, you're very diligent in what you do, Well Done.

I know it's Xmas day but we have waited over an hour just for entrees and some of our crew haven't eaten their entrees no updates from kitchen not impressed we ordered about 1:15pm and STILL waiting and it's 2:44pm the waitresses have been great no complaint there no word from the kitchen about our orders
Only a quick overnight stay, booked and paid for online very convenient. Small room with a bed and coffee making facilities and a small fridge. Good for its purposeRooms: 4/5
