Visited Revolutions Transport Museum at Whiteman Park today and it has a great collection of transportation from years gone by. Beautifully displayed and so interesting. Entry is by donation and it is a wonderful way to spend a few hours reminiscing of years gone by and a lost way of life. Experience just a tiny part of Whiteman Park, a special place left to us by an amazing man, Lew Whiteman. Thank you Sir!
Interesting and educational museum to wander through. Interactive displays makes the learning fun, interesting and informative video are located within the train carriage on display. A good place for young and not so young visitors.
under rated place! good to spend 30 mins here since it is near Caversham Wildlife Park. entry by donation.
Nice and tidy museum, interesting WA history. Entry by donation.
Great little museum. Entry FREE or by donation.
Don't like the changes. Taken out the reading corner and books .play mat and wooden toys gone and craft tables are down to one .nothing for the young children to do .it's a family park .should not be such a boring place for kids to visit. Need hands on activities. Loved settngwith h my granddaughter and reading the books and playing with wooden toys.
To be honest, I only went here because I was at Whiteman Park with my at the time 3.5 year old and we needed to kill some time. In the end, this was almost the highlight of the day can't go past the train ride, according to her. Lot's of interesting facts and information for the older folk, lot's of hands-on displays for the kids. A really underrated part of Whiteman Park.
Witness the evolution of transportation in Western Australia. Fantastic collection of old vehicles. Introductory video is a delight to watch and kinda prepares what's this museum all about. Loved it.
Good for families, interactive displays curtailed due to Covid but good as part of a trip to Whiteman park. And air conditioned
Wonderful place for you to take the kids for a coin donation. Kids can also climb some displays, so they will be up them like a rat up a new rope. You can walk around like your grandpa use to, dribbling on about what the trains were like when you were a boy and get a distant "Cool story dad" from the kids. It will bring back more memories than a Facebook remember page. Absolutely don't miss this one.
