The air conditioning is never turned on, and it’s been two summers now, it’s only there for display. They only have big fans that go extremely slow and aren’t sufficiently cooling all areas. I find it gets too hot that instead of going up reps, I’m doing less. I asked them if they had air conditioning before signing up. I wasn’t aware that they would never turn it on.nnOne of the machines has been out of order for almost two months now. They have horse racing playing on one of the TV’s. I let them know that, as an ethical vegan, I didn’t like seeing that, as there's animal abuse and murdering of horses. The person at the time changed the channel. However, it’s back on again now. It just goes to show that they don’t really care about their members and lack empathy and respect, disgusting behavior. Will update my review if I see changes.nnUpdate: They changed the channel which had horse racing that goes against my values as a vegan, then, changed it back like two weeks later, thinking I wouldn’t notice. As mentioned earlier, they lack empathy and just don’t care about their members, let alone the cruelty in horse racing. It still gets really warm, I doubt they will ever use the aircon.
The gym is very large with high ceiling , and the prices are reasonable. However, it is often very crowded, especially during peak hours16 to 19. Also, it lacks a few machines like the Captain’s Chair and Abdominal machine.staff are so friendly and helpful.
First gym where I haven't felt completely out of place or judged by members or staff! Everyone is incredible. Such a great team!
A fairly new gym at 3 months old at the time of this review. And a spacious one at that at over 2000sqm.nnPrice wise is one of the more affordable and flexible gyms out there on the market that caters affordability and flexibility. Something of which I am very grateful for.nnThis gym boasts a huge amount of facilities with 14 squat racks 10 of them dedicated ones And while it is super busy on most days, everyone gets their turn on using the equipment.nn2 major issues with this gym that affects the rating are staff culture and general maintenance.nnI have been to a variety of different gyms across the country and this one rates below average on staff culture. Very unfriendly and no effort made in connecting with customers. Not even a simple hello or goodbye greeting. I have even observed some customers being spoken to in a rude and arrogant manner. This may be a small element for some whose intention is to work out but for others...attitude specifies a lot on how a gym is maintained which brings us to the topic.nThe bathrooms are appalling at such a short tenure of operation. Soap dispensers unfilled and waste baskets full to the brim. I personally recommend a more frequent check and clean up where needed.nIn the end I would nevertheless recommend this gym if your main focus is to train whilst being on a low budget and definitely overlook the two development points noted above. These definitely do not require a large investment to rectify and if done appropriately would see this gym take off and shine.nnUpdate Dec 2023nIt's now been 1 year since this gym has taken off and very happy to see the improvements made. The customer service has taken off very nicely and have some great people behind the counter. The new bins introduced are also very easy to dispose trash. Hats off to Jen and team for managing the gym.nnUpdate 14/10/24nnAlmost 2 years at this gym and very happy with the management. James who is a new addition to the team is a fine man. Very hardworking and engaging to the members. When he is not with the members he's lurking around cleaning gym and ensuring everything is in top order. Cheers James.nnUpdate 9/11/24nnSpotted James being meticulous in his work up keeping the gym.. had to take a pic as evidence of his hard labour to maintain the gym in tip top shape.nnUpdate 27/11/25nnCleanliness and organisation of the gym has now deteriorated. Few machines have been out of commission over a few weeks. Weights and pylometric boxes are scattered across the squat racks. Bathroom soap dispensers are also not replaced and not cleaned. I have the impression that Revo seems to be seting their eyes on opening new gyms while neglecting the existing ones. Stoping the rating to 3 stars. Please address. ThanksnnUpdate 1/12/25nnAmazing turnaround by management. All my points have been quickly addressed and the gym is looking more tidier than ever. Excellent credit to Belle who is the new manager. She is full of positivity and good energy. Keep up the good work.
I went to several gyms such as south pacific, mentone, genesis dandenong. Revo has been the best one! Although there is no sauna/steam room, it is the best in terms of space, price and types of people that use the facility. Gym is big, clean and it has hiit training you can do anytime. Access to gym is done by mobile app. So this point is also good. I recommend it to everyone.
