Reverse Art Truck Inc. (formerly Reverse Garbage Truck Inc.)
- is a non profit organization that has been in operation for over 30 years. We collect rejects, seconds and factory off cuts for distribution to schools, early learning centres & the community

Story

For many years we have enjoyed the support of the Maroondah and Casey City Councils and the many industries who donate their offcuts to us for redistribution.

Reverse Art Truck has become so popular that it now provides materials to thousands of members of the community. Our sole aim is to provide you with a large variety of affordable resource materials and to educate on the benefits of re-using to recycle and reduce.

Had a really fun visit to the Ringwood reverse art location. Clear signage and easy parking.Great variety of interesting items for both adult craft projects and kids loose play/craft items. The staff member was lovely FIVE Stars alround.
Drove an hour and have been waiting for an hour. Opens at 9 tues. Got here at 9:30. Note on The door says “I’ll be back with a key.” And a mobile number to a gentleman who has no idea what I am talking about. Had no idea what reverse art truck shed was. Called the land line, when the answering machine. Gentleman in the neighboring shed said someone should be there. It’s now nearly 11am. Do I drive an hour home? Perhaps Ill get a better result at “resource rescue” down the road.

Always love going to the Reverse Art Truck. Every time I go in there, I never know what I'll find. There's hidden treasure to be found in every item you get and the various pieces of art that you see at the front of the shed made from recycled pieces always leaves me amazed at what you can make. Highly recommend it
Looked up on google and it says open, drive to narre Warren and it’s closed. Call them and they tell them about their google listing be they say we don’t have one just drive to Ringwood. Narre warren isn’t as good as Ringwood anyway. You do have a google listing and I drove to narre Warren. Apparently it’s only open Friday and Saturday

Went here with classmates for the excursion. Many stuff can be used for art and craft, reasonable price to get lots of things in one big trash bag. Unfortunately didn’t prepare on what to make materials I needed and as so many stuff there, loss the imagination
A quirkly little joint with all sorts of odds and ends. Great for budding artists in particular. Also a great way of giving back those odds and ends you don't want, but someone else might.
Has loads of stuff to keep.you or the kids minds active but you need to think outside the box .and a great resource for art teachers well any teacher . Its mainly overruns and bits and pieces of wood .plastic. beads. Containers. Ribbon. Buttons . Tubing . Perspex. Carboard cones
If you are a kindergarten or primary school teacher in Melbourne, the Reverse Art Truck should be a yearly or even termly destination in your calendar. Perfect for decking out a play-based classroom, and very reasonable prices and subscription options.
