Booked an appointment for 12:30 over the phone, then arrived and waited for over 1 hour to see the doctor. Eventually the doctor came and they let in people who booked appointments after me very rude. The doctors were very average, no personable impressions. Previous time I went there they told me that I had a virus, only for me to see another doctor who actually looked at my throat and told me that I had an infection. Regarding the facilities, they are average at best. It was warm on the day and their air conditioning didn't work. Also they had these blue stickers around the place that read 'Ultrasound', but they didn't actually have an ultrasound machine on site. Bit dodgy, won't be coming back.
Was told a doctor would call back for my 2 year old. Couldn’t take him in as we just had a covid test. Called 3 times over 6 hours and the receptionist told me not to worry he would call. The last time I was told the doctor had gone home and its now after hours and I could have gone elsewhere. Pathetic. Then the receptionist tells me to just go to the chemist and ask for antibiotic and she would get me the prescription on the morning. Must be used to talking to people who can’t speak English well or something. The chemist laughed at me. Then the next day, my wife calls them, the doctor gets on the phone and tells her she needs to take him to a hospital, because he hasn’t seem the 2 year old for a while. So we took him to another Doctor and had his medicine within 30 minutes. Rest well used to be good. Now they are one of those who couldn’t care less about patients much less children.
Dr. Malek treated patients like animals. I am surprised he is still a practising doctor. Someone should review this practice. He doesn't care about the patients and not a great listener. As a doctor active listening to patients is critical. One of the patients who is a senior patient has an heart attack and he advised it is covid. They've treated this patient like a third class citizen. Very disappointed. As a doctor you meant to help , support and provide comfort to patients to improve their healthy and well being in particular their mental health too. Not a good practice, quite toxic practice to be in. They're just their to swipe patients Medicare card to get the benefits. They treat people differently too. Don't recommend to go to this place at all. I'll rate this .05 out of 10.
My father had an appointment with Dr Malek in the morning and saw him. He accused my dad has covid without checking for any symptoms and didn't ask if he's ok. He told my parents to get out immediately as if they have some disease. Dr Malek is very unprofessional and doesn't treat the patients with care. I would not recommend this place or dr Malek. If I could rate 0 star I would! Horrible experience. Will never come back again. Do not waste your time visiting this place.
Tried calling 3 times this morning, line kept cutting off and then when I finally got through to book an appointment for a vaccine, lady transferred me to the concerned department only to hang up while I was waiting on hold. Bad service. Even when I walked into the centre the other week I was standing there for a good 10 minutes at reception desk before I was even acknowledged. Customer service needs work.
Go to him if you cannot find anyone else and you need a prescription for anything. He is not a doctor and I am surprised after 20+years of experience as a GP, his ability to actually ask the right questions is below an average Joe on the street. Once you step into his office, he just wants to get you out as soon as possible to get the next "customer" in. Save yourself your time, don't waste it with him. You can buy panadol and telfast at woollies. No need to go to him.
Dr malek treats the unvaccinated like they have a disease, puts the unvaccinated in a different room and and then checks on the patients while he is standing on the door and is so scared to touch the patient like they have a disease or something very unprofessional for a doctor to act in this way.
I booked for covid 19 vaccination over the counter and Verbally informed my age is 37 with health summary from GP. Today I walked down and got regretted that they don’t give vaccination to people age 37. I asked why didn’t someone tell me like this at the first time. It wasted my time.
Very professional practice and extremely knowledgeable doctors. Was attended to promptly and felt extremely well looked after. Would definitely recomend. Best in the area.
Very bad time management if you book at 10am they will get you in at 11am you need to wait at least 50min to get in very bad time management.
