Great place to study and read. Library has separate sections for youth, kids and general public. Staff is very cooperative. Library registration is free and one can borrow 30 {yes, it's 30} books, DVD, Magazines at a time. Internet terminal, coffee are free. Above all , this library host lot of programs every now and then.
The quiet room is not quite ...doors have to be open, and it is right in the centre ofnthe library at the main entrance.nPaying 25cents to scan to email is rediculous. I don't mind paying for printing, but scanning?nnDarebin councils and library's are terrible
Great local library with a broad range of facilities: meeting rooms, computers, hot water and mini kitchenette, youth music space, on top of the great collection. Integrated with other council offices and maternal health ward this library feels more like a community hub than simply a place for books. Parking at the rear.
0 stars. So disappointed. The return chutes don't open. So why bother borrowing books. The children's collection is so poorly maintained that is show Darebin residents are not worthy of a good collection. Poor form Reservoir
Mobile phone reception is still virtually non existent in most parts of the ground floor to the best of my knowledge . And Internet phone connectivity fluctuates widely but the staff are great friendly and extremely helpful . The library has also improved with time lot on the computers allowing extras use time when no one else is waiting to use the terminal. Noise level is still the same and its a bit of a struggle to get your laptop chargers in the power sockets due to their impossible locations, and nothing has been done in that regards..overall still very much a good to meet and greet even relax and refresh. More than a library its al things to all people and kudos to management
