Story

The Reservoir Leisure Centre is one of Melbourne's premier leisure facilities. Located in the North of Melbourne, the centre is owned and operated by the City of Darebin and offers it's members a modern and exciting facility with the most advanced water treatment and facilities available.

Our friendly and knowledgeable staff will ensure that a fitness program is developed which is tailored to your needs and interests. However, don't be surprised if you see mowing the lawns, going for a ride with the kids, or taking the stairs at work appear on your program because we are not just limited by our facilities. We think outside the square to help you maintain an active lifestyle that you will be able to maintain for life.

Disappointing experience with unprofessional staff.nI don’t usually leave reviews, but after today, I felt it was necessary. I’ve been a member here for about four months. While I don’t expect perfection, basic professionalism should be a given. Today, a staff member Chris actually chased me down, accusing me of not scanning in—despite the fact that I had. Apparently, they’re on high alert for “sneaky” members now.nnThe irony? I’ve seen this same person at the front desk several times, and not once has she been helpful. She just stands around while other staff members do the work. Yet somehow, she felt entitled to call out a paying, regular member without checking the facts.nnIt’s honestly baffling how careless and disorganized this place is becoming. Mediocrity is funny—until it starts affecting your experience. Unfortunately, this gym is heading in that direction.

Gave this place a go for 6 months and they are now increasing their membership prices. It was already too expensive for below average facilities. Some staff are lovely, some not so much. It feels very grubby and it's not an uncommon site to see cockroaches. There are plenty of gyms around that are clean and have great facilities and customer service. I would recommend doing thorough research before signing up.

Been going here since the start of the year and now they have increased the prices even though the facilities are disgusting and old. Have seen feces and bandaids near the pool area multiple times. The gym is so small and overcrowded most of the time. Some of the staff are so rude. I've now cancelled my membership and found a cheaper clean gym.nWould not recommend this place!

My sons been doing lessons here since he was 6mo. He’s now 3.5. He’s learnt so much from the instructors and feelsnvery confident around water.nThe guards are always watching and remind parents to stay off their phones. The centre is a bit older, but I like it. Reminds me of the pools growing up.nThe outdoor pool and slides are vintage but so fun. I kind of hope they don’t do it up. Everything has so much red tape these days that it’s a great reminder of the “old days.”nAnyway we love it. Maybe it’s not for everyone, but it’s def for us.

This centre is absolutely lovely. Although the facility is on the older side the staff are welcoming, efficient and attentive. The leisure centre is small and compact offering everything at a great price. I enjoy all my swims there. The diverse demographic it attracts makes it wonderful. Great place, keep up the good work.
