Relish Mama have a reputation as one of the best cooking schools in Melbourne. The Relish Mama cooking school is stunning and is a very inspiring and creative space. The Relish Mama cooking courses feature dishes from around the world. They offer a very wide and impressive variety of cooking classes and recently voted as one of the top 5 Cooking classes Melbourne has to offer. All classes include enjoyment of all the dishes cooked during class and served with wonderful wines. It is a place where the food cooked is real and where it has life, colour and flavour!

The first Relish Mama cookbook was released in 2014 and the second, titled 'Family' released late 2017.

Had a wonderful experience at Nellie’s cooking school Relish Mama during the mid week inspiration class. It felt like a dinner party, such a beautiful and functional space that is very homely and welcoming. Nellie shared lots of her personal tips and gave a huge range of dishes for us to cook, eat and take home the recipes. Highly recommended, especially to enjoy with a friend.

I did the Curries of the World cooking class and it was an aromatic and taste sensation.  Heating some of the spices before combining them with other ingredients was such a sensation for the nose and made the final product so much more flavourful.  The discussion during the cooking allowed everyone to learn the important aspects of each dish. Also for me it meant I would be able to modify it to suit my tastes. It also meant that I will definitely make most of the recipes in the folder that I took home with me. Excellent class and at the end we were able to eat a little of all the dishes prepared during the session.

Loved it! My partner bought me a gift certificate for the Vegan Cooking Class and it was fantastic. Emma (our chef) was good fun and very knowledgeable - I picked up so many handy tips and facts about food and cooking, on top of learning the dishes themselves. The food afterwards tasted amazing. An overall fantastic experience that I'd highly recommend!

I received this as a gift and what an fabulous experience..... the atmosphere, wine on arrival, great food. I learnt a lot of simple tips and skills i will be able to easily replicate at home. It felt like cooking with an old friend who was sharing their secrets. Highly recommended.

Great experience! I received this as a gift, and thought I'd try out a class in a cuisine that I'm no expert in (Indian), and I'm so glad I did! The event was very well organised. Casual, informative, welcoming, and most importantly - tasty! Will definitely be back for more classes, and will be sure to gift some classes to friends and family too!
