When my husband died suddenly on holiday in Australia my world fell apart.I didn’t know where to go or what to do. At A & E I was given leaflets of suitable undertakers and information. Fortunately, Reflections of Life was on the list. Joy (Director) held my hand and guided me through, dealt with all the complications of a sudden unexpected death, attended to every detail, and every need.Supported me the entire time with Peggy (Civil Celebrant) who was such a comfort. If you can ever have a beautiful funeral I had one and I am so thankful to Joy and her team.

I can't express just how helpful Joy & Peggy have been to me and my family in our worse moments , they cared for my dad with total compassion and empathy from the moment I called them ,they took our hands and guided us every step of the way , keeping in touch with us constantly ,I knew from the first phone call to Peggy I had made the right choice for my dad to cared for by this not only kind and caring company but also highly professional and personal one too . Joys service was above and beyond the call of duty from the first day onwards ,attention to every detail not only in arranging the funeral , but caring for my pops the whole time , Peggy spent time in our home helping us express our feelings for her to read at my dads service which she did so beautifully with care & compassion , Reflections of life helped my family get through the worse two weeks of our life's ,I cannot ever thank them enough for all they have done ,5 stars doesn't even come close to what this company offers .

1. Spelled my father’s surname wrong at his funeral 2. Charged us $1,000 over their advertised Funeral Directors fees. 3. Threatened to cancel the funeral 2 days before the funeral. They spelled my father’s surname wrong in the photo tribute video played at his funeral. After requesting an explanation, they told us it was "human error". They have since sent us 2 CD's with an amended video. These CDs are redundant, the video played during the service is what we paid for - a service with close to 200 in attendance, who all saw this mistake. It feels like this company has completely disrespected my father and my family. The funeral director threatened to cancel the funeral 2 days prior to the funeral due to “extreme stress” resulting from our request that the photo tribute video go with an 8-minute song and not have the song cut down to 3 minutes. We happily paid extra for this. I have seen a similar google review where it appears they have previously made a similar threat. They charged us $1,000 over the amount quoted for Funeral Directors fees on their website. When we asked for an explanation they told us that "amongst other things" we had a 1.5hour service not a 1hour service. We have not received an explanation as to what these "other things" are. In response to the above, the company has deflected the issues and blamed my family and I. They have not taken ownership for any mistakes made – including the video. A very difficult experience made even worse by the poor customer service we received from this company.

Joy from Reflection of Life Funeral Directors was very professional and knowledgeable when I was after some information about funeral plans. From the presentation folders to a welcoming office (tea and biscuits offered) I found the atmosphere and surroundings most enjoyable. I would have no doubt that this level of service would carry over to any family that required a funeral and their attention to detail
