We decided to get the five course degustation, it was selections from the a la carte menu, with matching wines. All the courses were great, with the prawn being a standout in my mind. As it was our wedding anniversary we got a nice extra dessert. The service was friendly and helpful, the wines were all good. Can’t complain, and a reasonable price for what we got!
Breakfast buffet. Huge assortment of choices. Cereal, juice, pancakes, coffee, all the stuff for a big breakfast scrambled eggs, separate station for eggs benny etc made by the chefs. Tried salmon eggs benny. Divine. Service plentiful & lovely. Fruit, juicers, croissants etc. As a local I got a discount. Proof of address. Having had big breakfast & coffee at quite a few places with prices ranging from $18 to $35 this buffet is well worth the price believe me
Friendly staff, very accommodating to a tired family with young kids late night walk in, Thank you! Quick service, meals came out quick, food was delicious, must have the semifredo dessert it was chocolate heaven! Chicken and lamb were both cooked to perfection with beautiful flavours!
Lovely Australian cuisine with standout desserts. The set menu allows you to choose between 2, 3 course or the degustation menu. We ordered the pork belly, lamb and the salmon. All pretty good. Our desserts were divine - highly recommend if you’re a sweet tooth.
First degustation - what a pleasant experience. We had the 5-course option. The dishes were all explained to us by the knowledgable & friendly staff. The dishes had variety, were delicious & well balanced. We will recommend Redsalt to our friends and family.
I am actually blown away with how lovely the food was, I was a little nervous about coming here due to the mixed reviews that I have seen but this place definitely exceeded my expectations! We were served by Kirsty who was amazing, I hope this message gets to her manager, Kirsty was very attentive and on the ball, always checking in to ensure that we were happy with our meals and had everything we needed. Thanks Red Salt for the lovely experience it was a great way to top off our weekend away.
We felt very pressured and rushed despite not being busy at all and a 6pm booking. Left so full, mainly because at the pace we were served food. Bill was delivered to our table without being requested, before dessert was finished and before we could order any further cocktails. Food was good!
Buffet is well presented and staff are friendly but their capability is beyond poor. Asked at egg station for soft poached eggs… hard as a rock. After three tries asking for soft they were still leathery and rock like. I can botch poached eggs myself at home for free without paying some guy to get it wrong over and over. Ordered coffee … barista made… sounds good. But the dude spills half of it while delivering to the table. No replacement and crema all gone. Hot food station empty of bacon and scrambled eggs. Fruit was ok I guess.
To be honest when we were here 3 years ago the food and service was much nicer. It wasn’t busy and I had to ask for things 3 times with two young kids was quite stressful. The chicken was undercooked and the salad was dry. Greens also flavourless. Wouldn’t come here again any time soon.
Absolutely amazing food and very friendly service. The only downside was they had run out of potatoes so we got chips instead and my hubby got served the wrong dessert but they fixed that up within a few minutes. So full!
