Went to Redlands United to watch my grandson’s play soccer. What a great set - up! Lovely, well maintained grounds. Great canteen - best bacon and egg roll I’ve ever had at a soccer club. Professionally refereed game. Lots of seating. It was a great pleasure to be at the grounds. All soccer clubs should aspire to this!
2nd year for my son now U12 plus summer 7’s and a carnival. Formed some great friendships last year, and they returned to play again this year. Fields are well maintained. Friendly and helpful new committee.
Since moving to the area from the UK a couple of years ago, Redlands United Football Club has played a huge role in helping my family and me feel part of the local community. I coach here, I play here, and my son plays here too. Everyone we’ve met—players, parents, coaches, committee members—have been incredibly welcoming and supportive.nnI’ve made some great friendships through the club and always look forward to bumping into familiar faces around the grounds or sharing a beer after my own games, or while watching the first team. Like any community club, there are challenges—especially when so much relies on volunteers—but I genuinely believe Redlands is in a strong position and working hard to become the place for local families who want to be part of something special.
Good friendly feel old school soccer town with good field to play the soccerington
Club overall seems good except there was a group of teenagers drinking and shouting disrespectful comments to the away side. Perhaps the club needs some sort of security to stop this behaviour as it creates a bad culture and atmosphere and experience of visiting athletes and spectators. The teenagers were from a previous game I think and all left 15 minutes before the game ended. I'm all for barracking and being loud supporting your team but sportsmanship is the biggest part of any culture of any club in all sports.
