Such a great beach to take your dog. There’s a section on leash and off leash. There’s plenty space for your puppy to run around and is clean. The only tap of water is at the entry . Limited parking available

Wanted a beach that wasn't overcrowded like the beaches closer to Newcastle's city centre to take some photos at. It's got more space, colours in the water and rocks, so good for photos.
Beautiful beach for the whole family. My dogs love to be in the off-leash area which is massive. I am sure it is one of the biggest beaches in the area that allow dogs. Great for a hot day when everyone needs a bit of a swim refresh to stay cool. I would recommend to come in early morning or late afternoon as there is no shade and if it’s a sunny day. It can get really hot. Wear sunscreen and be safe!
Great beach for families and fur babies. If you have a dog we suggest you still park at the surf club and head “right”. The walk is shorter than the “official dog park car park”.

Favourite 4WD beach, can get very busy but its not too crazy on a weekday! Don’t forget to buy a permit to drive on the beach. Fires are aloud but be careful and don’t start a bushfire! Also apparently there are a lot of sharks at this beach. Other than that its a really amazing beach to drive/ camp on!
That route will bring you to the part of the beach, where people can bring their dog. A bit more up is the normal beach.
