Redeemer Baptist School in North Parramatta is an outstanding educational institution that truly goes above and beyond in shaping young minds. The school's commitment to academic excellence, paired with its strong Christian values, creates a nurturing and holistic learning environment. From the very first day, you can feel the genuine care and dedication of the teachers and staff, who not only prioritise academic achievement but also focus on developing students' character, resilience, and sense of purpose.nnThe curriculum is well-rounded, offering a fantastic balance of academics, arts, and sports. Students are encouraged to think critically and creatively while being supported every step of the way. The small class sizes mean that each student gets personalized attention, fostering confidence and a love for learning.nnThe campus is spacious and beautifully maintained, providing students with an ideal environment to learn and grow. The emphasis on community is another standout feature, with Redeemer feeling more like a family than just a school. Parents are actively involved, and there's a strong sense of partnership between home and school, which contributes to the well-rounded development of each child.nnRedeemer Baptist School is not just a place for learning—it's a place where students are inspired to become compassionate, well-rounded individuals ready to make a positive impact on the world. Highly recommended for families seeking a quality, values-based education!
I sometimes wake up randomly thinking about the time my year 5 teacher screamed at me for “lying” about doing my homework, and like I mean screaammm scream, it was a misunderstanding on her part but I couldn’t explain that to her because I was actually shook and was crying, she kept screaming at me and the entire class was looking at me, and I was just crying, it was my first year at that school too, I was still new. I didn’t get a chance to explain what happened but then after that I didn’t bother. Year 6, I was still missing my friends from my primary school and kept a diary with me, mid class, same teacher barged into my classroom, went thru my stuff and read my diary, another trauma moment, I loved the girls tho, grateful for the friends I made there, and there was this one teacher who genuinely brought me closer to God, grateful for him.
I hated every second during my enrolment at this school the teachers don’t rly gaf about bullying, instead only ‘solve’ scold the culprit and make them write lines as if that’s gonna do anything small problems like doing dumb crap in the bathrooms. They even locked the bathrooms during lunch cus people were just hanging out in there when it was burning hot outside if u want to rethink ur life choices then def recommend this school ig
I went to this school, do not send your children here. I feel for the kids whose parents have forced them to be here. This school has been known to have a genuine interest in cultish behavior that has spanned for multiple generations now. And it surprises me how places like this are still around in today’s progresively vigilant social climate…nnOn the surface, Redeemer looks like an ordinary Christian school with looks that can sway an unsuspecting parent to throw their unfortunate child in there. You’ll find two different types of students there - day schoolers and community students. Day schoolers go back home after school and community students head back to their gated neighbourhood adjacent to the school. In my experience these community students struggle to pick up on certain social cues and are very sheltered; none of them aspire to be anything but a volunteer for the school as part of God’s calling. This is a MASSIVE red flag and I’m worried about what might become of them in the near future :…nnI also had a few international students in my class which was delightful as it gave me a chance to learn more about their country and culture, but the teachers couldn’t be more repulsed by hearing a language other than English - very xenophobic methinks - and when asked why a ‘no foreign language’ rule was enforced, they said ‘it was to prevent gossiping’. If gossip is where they draw the line, then there’s something the school may be hiding that they’re afraid might be exposed.nnFor teachers looking to find employment here, look elsewhere. They don’t hire outside of their cult, and I doubt they’d be able to pay you; all the staff are volunteers living off government stipends as payments. So expect your CV to be dropped within the first week. The last ‘real’ staff member they had was almost 2 decades ago… 2005 nnIf I recall correctly there used to be tons of controversy surrounding this school, but most of that information has been wiped out now and there’s only a select handful of sources that can be deemed as reliable. I have a hunch the upper echelons of the school/church may be doing something behind the scenes to crack down on every detractive post made on the school - but that’s just a hunch. If true however, this proves that the school is aware their treatment towards the students isn’t genuine but one that is calculated with malice.nnThis school is a tad bit extreme and I wouldn’t even dare touch it with a 10 foot pole. I guess it would depend on your morals and beliefs, but if yours is as good as the rest of us, you’d know better.
This school is amazing if your a strict but fair parent. The school disciplines your kids and consequences are in place for unfair behaviour and responsibility. The school is very fair and doesn’t support the LGBTQ community as they are a christian school. Would highly recommend for those who want smart, disciplined kids!!!!
