Been here twice for burgers during our Wanaka visit. Delicious fresh burger and cajun fries. Friendly service and good ambient if you managed to find seats dining in. Gets busy during dinner time
We had the grilled chicken Caesar and 5-O burgers with Cajun chips. The portions were huge! The ingredients were fresh and high quality. We enjoyed our burgers and chips : service was fast and friendly. ThanksFood: 5/5
Great burger with excellent sides and dips. I had the cheese burger and my wife had the vege burger. We were both really pleased with our choices. The photo is of the cajun fries I couldn't finish, I was too hungry to take a before shot!Food: 5/5
The staff are absolute legends and make some wicked burgers. Never disappointed, I truly something new every week and haven't found anything I haven't enjoyed! Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options
15/10! I'm visiting from the US and stopped here during my travels. I ended up coming back because the first experience was so good. I got the BBQ burger the first time and the regular cheeseburger the second time. Both amazing. The cajun fries were incredible too, and they offer free unlimited water. I'm not a drinker, so I can't review their selection of alcohol, but they seemed to have a lot of options. The staff here was also phenomenal. One guy don't know the name :, sorry recognized me and welcomed me back. The building is very clean and modern. One of the best places i've visited for sure. :
Had there burger twice. The first time I've ordered the chicken ceasar, the second one was mojo. Both so underseasoned it should be criminal. Not tasty at all. I felt like chewing a soft cardboard. The fries were just disgusting. Sorry to say. Won't come back.
We stayed in Wanaka for a few days and ate here twice. Both burgers were great and I highly recommend the Cajun fries. The staff was really nice as wellFood: 5/5
Service was alright, quick to serve our orders. Toilet was clean. We had cheeseburger, falafel, venison Shania veg burger. Falafel patty was too dry, felt like eating a cookie. Cheeseburger, venison burger was bland. Sorry to say, but it would be better to drive over to Queenstown for Fergburger. Vegetarian options: Falafel burger was really dry, quite a let down.
Great burger and very busy little establishment. Not much inside seating, some more outside. A lot of take out service from here. We got on street parking, not sure if car park at the back is valid for Red Star. We got the classic burger and sweet potato fries and the cajun fries, all delicious and dips were quite good. We liked the blue cheese dip but the bbq dip was not like bbq dip I've ever had, more sweet treacle dip.
Good burgers. And they were pumping them out quick even with the long queue. I give it 5 red stars
