I never wrote review because it’s time consuming. However, I really want to share my nightmare experience to who ever is watching. Terrible service, just rude. Ordered a regular chicken roast, she walked away from me for 3 minutes or so then came back and asked me again what do I want. Asked her for the drink she said will serve with meal, guess what, no drink in the bag. Chicken is absolutely salty, talked to the manager, he said I can keep my chicken and choose other foods on the menu then he walked back to kitchen because it’s busy at drivethru. So I handed my meal back to the counter and asked for refund. Bad experience and still hungry.
Disgusting, Ripped off, we bought. 1. Hot pack 1/4 chicken with chips, no veg bit peas. Came out. 1/3 chicken my chicken quarter cut in half again the other half MISSING, exactly 5 chips, dried out peas NO GRAVY, went back asked for gravy got lumpy cold fridge gravy, cut chicken stone cold, complained young girl tried to help, big young man just bullied stared at us. 2. 1/4 chicken and chips exactly as above stone cold. 3. Medley of vegetables what a bloody joke for $5 spoon full of what looked like scraps, not edible 4. 1/4 chicken roast, lumpy cold gravy and chicken dead cold. Your staff selected who they served DISGUSTING behaviour so many walked out. One Aboriginal lady who has been following us back to SA with her family in a campervan was refused service, your staff is racist, they would not refund me my $38.00. Just because your in outback Australia you still have Red Rooster franchise to uphold. Do not eat here.
Best red rooster I’ve ever had. Food was really good and the counter girl was friendly too. Nice enough seating area close to toilets. Good place to stop if you need to eat and refresh yourself and fuel up.
I just finished a 14hr day and didn't feel like cooking, so went to red rooster at 7.30pm, closing time is 9pm. There was no signs to say they were closed. Other people were there, I stood in line for about 10mins before the person behind the counter rudely told me that they were closed and the lady in front of me was the last customer. So I won't be going back there.
Freshly cooked food, tasty. Great pitstop on a long drive.
