I ordered through Menulog and I received the wrong order. I called the restaurant and they took total responsibility and my replacement order was personally delivered by the duty manager. Mistakes happen, but the customer service displayed to rectify the issue was absolutely fantastic!! Well done!!
Several bad experiences back to back with them and not only the food issue but also the staff behaviour too, I have complained about the food issues a few times but they don't care to be honest. I won't come back again for sure . 1. A few times, asked for only breasts for the 6 pieces fried chicken meal but received once 3 wing and 2 drum sticks and a thigh no breast and twice 4 wings and 2 drum sticks. I wonder if they do that on purpose didn't realise until I got home hopeless! 2. Ordered and paid for hot spicy 3 pieces fried chicken meal box but when I got home realised the fried chickens are normal not spicy. 3. Ordered 2 large sweet potato chips, got home realised one of the boxes only having 2/3 chips and all are over cooked tiny sweet potato chips. .
Enjoyed my lunch here recently. The lunch pack was plentiful and watched it made fresh in front of me. The portion size was exactly what I needed and I liked the different options available. The crispy chicken burger was pretty good. I don’t normally order coke but it ended up being a good option. Staff were helpful and friendly. Dine in or take away. Wheelchair accessible. Kid friendly. Good parking.

I went there with Elise on Tuesday 20th September 2022. I had the Chicken Burger and Regular Chips and Elise had 10 Cheesy Nuggets but they bought out the burger with Chicken Tenders so I complained because they gave me a one with Chicken Tenders instead of one with a Chicken Patty so the lady swapped it over to 10 Cheesy Nuggets for me. I would recommend buying the Chicken Burgers and Chips from Grillz in Chirnside Park.
Unfortunately our first experience at Red Rooster did not live up to our expectations. We found the chips and coleslaw good. I found the chicken fairly okay and less fatty than its famous competitor. However, my partner disagreed with the quality of the chicken. We also were given a wing as a piece rather than a drumstick or thigh which to us felt like a joke… The staff was nice but customer service was poor due to the fact there was no towels given, no wipes, no cup for our drinks and no sauce. When we asked for a couple of sauces, we were given one at a time. A bit tight and unpleasant to be cutting cost on 1/2 barbecue sauces. The box was as expensive as if we went to a restaurant in CBD and that really confirmed we will not go back there.

It was a visit down memory lane, and not something we do everyday. We reside a few suburbs over, although we weren't too far from the store many years ago. The service was quick and the food was hot and freshly made. It was the first time our kids had Red Rooster and they enjoyed it also. The fried chicken was surprisingly good, and very crispy.
