Very good coffee we had latte and flat white, nice bacon and egg rolls. Friendly service - young ladies working there always polite and efficient....I have been there numerous times over last 18 months when in Maryborough always good experience. They open later than other bakeries/cafes in town - even late afternoon serve coffee.
The coffees are great and the staff, super friendly. The cake if the week is to die for ... omg! You will definitely love it. As well, the $10 meal deal is a popular fav with the locals.

Absolutely would not recommend - the young girl serving me first put through my transaction touching the till, eftpos machine and money with her gloved hands then proceeded to make my salad roll without changing her gloves! Occasionally brushing the gloves off on her dirty apron. To make matters worse I ordered and paid for 2 muffins only to have one staff member come out 10 minutes later to inform me they sold my muffins to another customer that ordered after us. Not good enough and will definitely not be returning.
Owner treats his employees like garbage. Mold in between the cabinets, bathroom in the play area has been non functional for over a year, air conditioner feels as if it is not running during the hotter months. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Only redeeming factor is that the staff are nice and the food tastes good although somewhat expensive, but those factors are not enough to raise it above one star.
The baked goods are innovative and exceed all expectations. I am a qualified chef patissier for 8 years and the food here is exceptional. More could be done on the cafe front, as most successful bakeries nowadays are a cafe + bakery fusion, and this place has the history and potential to make this one of the greatest businesses in town. But at the moment sitting on their hands a bit as the dècor and layout is not getting younger but the food is exceptional and worth a 5 star rating on its own.
Red House Bakery honestly, hands down have THE BEST YO-YOS I have ever had! I'm sad that I've moved away, however when I do visit family and friends and stay, I make sure I get in to buy some. Red House Bakery, please send me bulk big yo-yos
Fantastic food and has a great play centre for kids to play, perfect for a a coffee and chat
