Regular ol' fish and chips at a reasonable price. Had the 'Single pack' which was decently priced at $12, plus a pineapple fritter for $2. Pack included fish cod which was cooked nicely, chips were real good chicken salt but I felt the portion was slightly small, and the prawn cutlet was nice. Calamari was a bit underwhelming but I've had some awesome alternatives elsewhere so I guess my expectations were high. The overall meal size was perfect for me, but some people may find it small but you can always add to it!. Also, service was quick.
Today was the second time I’ve ordered from here via Menu log. The food is incredibly fresh & tasty. You would think they were at the back of an ocean. Calamari soft & fresh. Tartare sauce delightful. Corn dog & Chiko roll cooked to perfection. One little secret…. The Pineapple Fritter is a must! Its an explosion of sugar & cinnamon on the taste buds. 5
I absolutely LOVE this place. Literally the best food for GREAT prices and the staff are kind, welcoming and because they're a small family owned business, they've basically memoriesed what I always order! BEST PLACE EVER!
Just ordered cod with $2 chips and in my opinion the chip portion is very small. The fish is lovely, but in the future I'll stick to the place around the corner. I called the restaurant to let them know and they apologized but nothing more. Won't be going back.
Honestly a delicious and cheap feed. The classic cheap little small business fish and chips shops are getting harder to come by. Can get a great meal for less than $15. Got plenty of chips and a delicious hamburger my last visit. Obviously not expecting a luxury dinner but for what it is absolutely excellent. Lovely staff and service and great value.
The food is if a high quality and the prices are very reasonable. The customer service is outstanding. I highly recommend this place.
Polite and fast service.. the steak burger was cooked to perfection and tasty large dim sims.. definitely will be given a continuous visit
yummiest chips da world.i would eat dose every day. every night. every midnight. every midday. all. the. time. they make me feel so happy. crunchy and cooked to poofectin. it cure my diprissin. i love you. whoever makes them. marry me.
It's actually good i was surprised. Irs cheap and they stick to the traditional basics and do it well. Good chips with chicken salt and even Korean fried chicken!
How do places like this even exist, especially in a suburb like Red Hill? This was the worst fish and chips we have ever had. The quality was so appalling that it would have been better to buy frozen seafood and stick that in the oven. The calamari was tasteless and dry, with unenjoyable batter. The seafood sticks tasted mushy and slimy, as if they were made with a mixture that hadn’t even set, and the prawns in the prawn cutlets were so small, they were like the kind of prawns you get in small dim sums. Even the lemon wasn’t even a lemon! It was so old and dry, I was lucky to get enough droplets to cover a quarter of the almost inedible fish bites. Not only will I never return again, but I will not even turn my head to look at this restaurant when I drive past. We came here as my four-year-old was craving calamari, but not only did she hate it, she thought the birds would, too. Pick your game up.
