Just an absolute gem of a corned beef and jalapeño pie down at red beach bakehouse! The rush is on but the care has still been taken cheers guys
Best pie ever! Grew up with this little gem.nnTheir pie crust is flaky on the top and buttery on the bottom, not dry at all. The steak and cheese and mince and cheese pies are filled with generous amount of meat and gravy.nnAlso fav items are their donuts - plain cream donuts, apple cream donuts and coffee cream donuts.nnLots of variety of bake goods to choose from, a couple of tables and chairs outside for seating.
Great pies, the pastry was soft, flakey and delicious!
Service was good, pie was pretty expensive for what you get in it definitely different than Southland. Shop was very small and cramped.
Great quality food and coffee is great but vege options are very poor. We have been asking for a Vegetarian/vegan pie for years and the only savoury option without meat is a quiche and vege roll. The vege roll is amazing but every time we go in it is the only option in the cabinet empty. Considering there are two whole cabinets of meat pies and meat sandwiches it’s super disappointing
