A while ago we went out to dispose of some varying rubbish- when directed to the main tip area there was an individual that shouted out condescending remarks whilst I tried to maneuver the vehicle back towards the dumping area general waste. It was a worker from the city of Stirling- he felt it funny to shout out obnoxious one liners about my reverse parking skill- good one mate- a paid local govt. worker that heckles the rate payers whilst trying to do the right thing. This happened about 2 months ago- but I just reminded myself about the wonderful experience and just had to give the review!

While it can be great one day it can be just as bad the next. Prices at shop are on a very frequent basis near that of new items or more.  Sometimes staff is very friendly and other times extremely rude. Would be great to have access to all recycled items not just a few bits. For example you need a small piece of metal for something, they won't allow you to look at the scrap metal section so now you go to bunnings, cut what size you need and most of what you bought ends up at the tip's recycling centre.. I you recycled it. Yeah good and bad, could be great but prices waaaay to high. I rarely find something here. FB market place cheaper.

This place is amazing for bargains on anything from household items to building products like bricks and tiles. Everything is donated but good quality and its for the Workpower charity

wow some unhappy customers here! i thought it was great on my first visit... yes a lot of the indoor stuff is much like an op shop, but there's lots of construction salvage and landscaping stuff. one happy customer here!

Great concept. Customer walks in wanting to buy and help reduce waste.But. Shame you cannot buy clearly priced items and been told they are not for sale. Bad customer service Lost a sale

Great to see recycling at its best. Prices for second hand goods are hefty. They were asking $130 for a bike with flat tyres... Thats a little greedy.

All the workers I have seen are quite helpfull.

Since renovation, this place went downhill. I will never come again. This is not recycling place. I real recycling place people would allow to look through the whole place such as steel scraps, paint section, electronic section. I wanted to fix my vacuum cleaner so I went to the centre to have look if someone rubbish similar vacuum, but I  got kicked out by an almost aggressive older worker. Whoever runs this place should be fired.  Bring back the a lady who used  to run it. Back then we could go around and buy anything of value to us!

I cannot believe I have only just found this treasure chest of goodies. Items are ridiculously well priced and there are many bargains to be found here. Deb was such a great help, was lovely to deal with and we are ecstatic with our special finds. Warning: can be dangerous to the bank balance if you are in a "treat yourself" mood!

It's a great place to find some recycled treasure, lots of bric-a-brac and building materials.
