Readings. My absolute favourite place in Carlton. There's something so tempting about the rows and rows of pristine spines, that there are so many stories in one place. As well as a beautiful store in a convenient location, Readings has excellent customer service and a well designed functional website. Absolutely awesome :
Readings Kids is littered with titles all of the same hue that look as if they've been selected by Adam Bandt and Sarah Hanson-Young. Very little diversity in their book selection. Strictly for the Q&A luvvies only.
Love this place. My second home if I could call it that. I wish I could live there but where would I start my reading n how would I manage my space n time? So many books so little time.

Iconic and always great bookshop in the heart of Carlton. Range of books and gifts. The wrapping paper sheets are so nice I use them as posters and for crafts.
