Story

We are family owned business and pride ourselves on creating a fun, welcoming and motivating health club.

Re.Creation is a well-known, much-loved and respected gym brand, with the previous Re.Creation Armadale an institution of the area.

Re.Creation Malvern offers everything that you need. It is a 24 hour gym plus a Yoga Studio, Functional Training Centre and Spin Studio all rolled into one. With over 60 classes a week on our Group Fitness Timetable there is something for everyone.

We offer the latest Mind / Body programs in our beautiful “Body Retreat” studio, including Yoga and Hot Yoga, Pilates, Barre Fit, Rejuvenate and Meditation.

Our Function Centre has all the trimmings of a Personal Training Studio with group classes including F55, Boxing HIIT, Spinning, Body Combat, Body Pump and Results

One of our jewels is The Velodrome, a multi-tiered spin room with 40 new Keiser spin bikes.

We also have an expansive Personal Training program with some of the best trainers in Melbourne.

Visiting ReCreation Malvern is not all hard work. Relax in a massage chair and enjoy a cafe quality coffee after your workout in the light and bright members lounge.

We go that extra step offering free wifi, and even a doggy lounge for furry friends.

With highly competitive membership rates and even lower rates for senior, concession, corporate and teenagers this is cheaper than a single class at the other facilities making it the best value in the area.

We are located at 66 Glenferrie rd, Malvern, right next to Aunt Maggies organic grocer. The club is opposite Malvern Central and is supported by large car parking zones at the rear.

And, given that we also own a few other Re.Creation gyms if you become a member at Malvern you will have reciprocal rights to other select Re.Creation Health Clubs including Sorrento, South Melbourne, and East Brighton.

I've been coming here 6 days out of the 7 for the last few years and I highly recommend it. I love this gym and look forward to each visit. You always get a friendly greeting and all the staff are fun and down to earth. Great selection of machines and free weights downstairs and a second floor dedicated to classes. The location is terrific and free 2hr parking behind the gym is perfect. 24 hr access is a major plus. They even have a doggie corner so you can leave your pooch there to be adored while you sweat.

Five stars! Recreation Malvern is the best gym I have ever been a member of. Izzy and Kat and Lexi on front office are all so friendly and helpful, it is always an excellent customer service experience, being on the gym floor is always a great time, members and trainers here are all great! The club is always clean and tidy, the bathroom facilities are really nice, I love the variety of equipment that is available. I look forward to being here and have noticed a huge improvement in my commitement to exercise and fitness levels!:))) thank you to the entire team for all you do to create a positive space! Xx

Interesting that someone mentioned that she thought it was the fault of the gym when her membership was not cancelled. When the gym asks you to send an email requesting cancellation and you forget, only to think it is the responsibility of the gym to follow it up, then it is not really fair is it? I mean, they have told you what you need to do, it is not their job to follow you up after they have answered your question. Unfair that the gym receives a poor review in this case. It is a good gym with great facilities. Well managed and well run.

Of all the gyms I've been a member of, Re Creation Malvern is the best! The fellow members and staff are SUPER friendly and they have great group fitness instructors with an awesome range of classes. Plus it's 24/7. It's no wonder their members always come back to them.
