The shop is now located at at 154-158 Victoria Street, Brunswick near corner of Lygon St and is still owned and run by the Sunshine family. Now known as Rathdowne Fabrics, the large store has a huge variety all types of fabrics and at incredible prices. From After 5, bridal, cottons, knits, silks, wovens, woolens, denims, dress fabrics, linens, fake furs, furnishing fabrics and accessories, haberdashery, patterns and of course the famous remnant bins, there is always something for the blogger, home sewer, fashion student, costume designer, home decorator, or DIY enthusiast"

Wow after neva returned to the fashion of fabrics in decades it's now even closer in the Northern burbs in Brunswick no less. Affordable prices & as the name suggests remnants galore. Worth a look see

Best store, great range of fabric and the staff actually know things. They can answer all the questions and will always do extra to make sure you have everything.  I've been shopping here since 1991.

Walked in to make a purchase of thousands of dollars worth of fabric for my clothing label for sampling multiple garments, and even higher MOQ for mass production and consistent future purchases, but the staff here are the rudest of all the fabric stores in Melbourne! Horrible service. I'm not sure why I was recomended to go here, I walked right out and took my money and business elsewhere. Didn't wait a second to share with my 50+ team to avoid this place at all costs.. No thanks.
