Really horrible value, based on my meal, the menu and ever fewer experiences over the years. $35 for microwave veggies and a tiny well done steak. The lunch special at Volcanoes, as a point of reference, is literally 3 or 4 times better value, and probably that many times better. I would upload a pic of that too, but dont want people to think that's from here. Rest assured, it was great and I go back often, unlike here, which has sadly become a last resort. Now the steak itself - I asked for medium. Got well done. I left about half the tiny steak and told the staff. Was not offered or given any discount. See pics. Wish I could get my money back.
Good atmosphere. We liked the outdoor area because it provides a an open air environment- which is important during the pandemic. Friendly staff. Good food - good variety too. Excellent variety of drinks - I ordered the strawberry lemonade. Clean restaurant. There appears to be a rear access - this is where you can find more parking. Bathrooms are located near the rear of the restaurant. This restaurant is COVID-safe.
Staff were all really nice, looked after my kid, my wife's schnitzel was cooked nicely. But I ordered a t-bone steak and it was not even edible. I was able to cut about 1/4 and the rest I struggled to even cut it let allow chew it. I couldn't even chew it, to force myself to swallow it down. Not the type to make a fuss, but told the staff. They were happy to make another one for me but by then the whole family had already finished eating. I asked just make me a small cheeseburger just so I can get full. After waiting for so long, I just went to pay and I overheard them in the kitchen they didn't even know about the burger. Also there's balloons around the whole shop that say kids eat free on Sundays. Today is Sunday and they charged my sons meal when I had specifically asked the staff before we ordered and they said yes he even gets a free ice-cream. The manager gave me 10% off my bill for not getting the cheeseburger but I just wanted to leave the place.
I have been there many times over the years. Lately quality definitely improved comparing to few years ago. I enjoyed the meals and the deserts. The service was good and the restaurant is clean. Well done!
Food was good, but service was slightly delayed. We waited for almost 5 minutes to be noticed at the entrance as we were waiting to be seated. We eventually had to get their attention to let them know we were waiting to be seated as per the notice at the front. Waitress came forward and said we can sit anywhere ‍. After a while had to send my daughter to the waitress to let her know we are ready to order. Probably because of all the staff shortages in the industry.
Disappointed in the quality of food & portions do not justify the price increase. Ordered a ribs combo $75 & received that.
My husband and I went to Rashay for breakfast. My husband ordered the big breakfast. When the waitress Jess brought the food on the table she said that they ran out of hash browns and asked if we want anything else instead. We asked to have extra mushrooms so she went and never comeback. When I saw her attending another table I asked what’s happened with the mushrooms. She said they ran out of mushrooms too. She said she will check with the chef and come back to us. We finished eating and didn’t see her at all. When we went to the register to pay the bill, the same waitress was there and didn’t mention anything. So we paid and exited without any replacement for the has browns. Very disappointed with her service.
Rashays on Macquarie, Liverpool. I do not recommend this restaurant at all! My husband and I ordered 3 meals and a starter. On the menu there was set pricing, however, when we went to pay, it costed way more than we expected and the food portion sizes were extremely disappointing.. We ordered the barramundi with a side of chips, the fish was tiny and burnt. On the menu it was $35 but we paid $46? I’m sorry, 46 what? For a small piece of fish and some chips? I also ordered fettuccine with prawns, I couldn’t believe how tiny the portion size was, I could count the pasta. On the menu it said $27 and we paid $35? Definitely not worth what we paid for it. We also ordered the cheese balls, on the menu it said $15, we paid $20.. We also ordered the crunchy burger which came with a side of chips, honestly, that was probably the highlight of the night.. I’m so disappointed and upset. Why did we pay more than what was expected? We came in expecting good food but left dissatisfied and disappointed..
Customer service cannot get any worse. I went with a friend and when we got our food, we only received cutlery for one person. I ordered a drink that tasted absolutely terrible, when I asked for another drink it tasted 10 times worse. We ordered desert, Nutella pancakes and they came without the ice cream shown on the menu. When I asked for the ice cream the waiter brought me ice cream in the tiniest plastic container that they use for sauce. There was chocolate only on the top pancake and the rest were dry, the chocolate wasn't even melted. Not to mention I waited more than half an hour for someone to just look at me so I can make an order. Been coming here for about 10 years so it was very disappointing.
We went there for my son's birthday around 8pm for a quick bite. We ordered icecream, a Nutella waffle and churros. It took them 30 min to serve the ice-cream supposed to be two scoops /instead we got may be 1and1/4scoop. In 45 min finally the waffle arrives with a weird taste which was BARBECUE SAUCE on the chocolate waffle. The replacement waffle arrived around 1hr after the order pictured. They Did not offer an apology. I think enough said. Rashay's never again
