A wonderful stay!! Had our flight cancelled and couldn't find anywhere to stay. Finally tried the Ramada and the girl on the phone was absolutely fantastic! She found us a room, got us all booked in and made a very stressful day alot easier. Check in was quick and simple we even got upgraded to a 3 bedroom apartment. The room was beautiful, clean, had everything you needed. Pool area is stunning and even had a separate shallow kids pool. Restaurant was great, food was super yummy. Shop to hire bikes, pool stuff, surfboards is a real stand out for this resort. Beach access is perfect. Very happy with our stay and would certainly stay again! Well done to the team. Walkability: Just a short stroll to cafes, restaurants, chemist, general store, beach, parks.
The staff at reception and also in the restaurant are all fantastic. The rooms are clean and well equipped to cater for families. We booked a two bedroom apartment and even though it's not officially an ocean view 3404 we did have a partial view and there was new carpet and flooring that gave it a modern feel. Kitchen was adequate to cook some basic meals. Bed was mattress unfortunately was hard as a rock however the kids beds were super comfortable. Pool is large and heated, they could use some more chairs and tables with shade as some guests will put two towels on them and walk away for hours without using them... selfish guests but you snooze you loose! Funny watching guests hiding around the pool from the sun to avoid getting roasted. Still not a reason to give a low score as this if the normal at most hotels and it is 4 star so it easily meets that standard Definitely need more cover for kids. A few small things could make a difference eg a pillow menu, a better equipped gym, breakfast 7 days a week not 5 and room service. Get to the pool early and don't leave until you are done for the day. Great dinner options at the hotels restaurant Surfair, The Loose Goose and many more .
We visited for our anniversary and were greeted with a surprise gift in our ocean view room. It's a lovely spot on the ocean with a heated pool and friendly, helpful staff. Our room was clean and cosy. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast in the restaurant downstairs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be returning.Rooms: 5/5
We had such an amazing time here, we did not want to leave! We booked a 3 bedroom apartment last minute, before we saw any reviews. We were nervous after seeing the bad reviews, but when we walked into our apartment, we were thrilled! The apartment is massive, plenty of room for the whole family. Decor was lovely and modern and the room was clean. The views are ah-mazing and those sea breezes, I’ve never felt so relaxed. There is a smell that comes from some of the toilets/drains, unfortunately, but we’d still come back. This place is great for families, super close to the beach with life guards providing a safe area to swim. Pool is heated, kids loved it. The restaurant is great, we had all our meals there. Unfortunately, they weren’t open for breakfast during our stay. Would thoroughly recommend the apartments for families looking for a place quieter than Mooloolaba.
We stayed there last weekend for 2 nights, really enjoyed the restaurant and bar good service and close to the beach. Unfortunately our room wasn’t the greatest, not much of a view tucked away in the corner looking at a blank wall, and uncomfortable king size bed!Rooms: 2/5
Thank you Ramada. We only stayed for one night, but the attention to detail was unsurpassed. A special shout out to Patricia, who provided dinner recommendations and a special surprise for a special occasion. There's a difference between good customer service and amazing customer service... Patricia is the amazing variety!
The staff were excellent. The room was very ordinary . The fixtures throughout the whole room are just worn and in need of replacing Carpets were dirty and old . Bathroom is dirty .was a jointhappy plant under the sink on the floor which our 2 year old nearly picked up. Sink in chipped with silicone coming off . Air-conditioning vents are filthy .intake and outlet Doesn't looked like it's ever been cleaned plus keeps making a bang sound when it stops cooling. No microwave .. Watching pool maintenance people dumping in chemicals right next to kids swimming in the pool at 3pm is just stupid . Wait until the pool is closed Should be alot better for the cost . The rooms are nothing like the photos . But the staff are great . Very helpful.
This review is based solely on the room - we stayed in the North Tower - Ocean View Room at a cost of $328.50 per night. There was nothing about this room that was up to standard or near what is advertised. There was no air conditioning in either bedroom, shower curtains didn't even realise you could buy them anymore, ugly mission brown carpet in need of replacement, also in need of a total refresh paint. Pool, bistro, hotel and all other facilities were excellent. Staff members also excellent. The check in process needs to be streamlined as a room is allocated on arrived which appears to be very disorganised.
I have travelled the world extensively so I was surprised that at checkin to be were offered a $100 voucher & bottle of wine to attend a time share seminar at 8am or 10am despite already informing staff we were there to celebrate an event. No thank you & inappropriate. Only given brief information on how to find our room. Our room was concealed behind 2 doors. A map would of helped. Told at checkin we could access the pool, restaurant, and beach via the deck attached to the room. Unable to use deck cause the glass door did not have an exterior lock so to utilise meant leaving the room unlocked & at the will opportunistic thieves. So accessing areas required walking around the facility. Advised front desk whom requested the fault via an email however acknowledged they knew which room it was. The room key did not unlock the pool gate. Tried multiple times unsuccessfully. There didn't appear to be any noise curfew which continuing into the wee hours of the morning, two nights in a row. Our family event happened at the restaurant. A few of us arrived a little earlier than the guest of honour. Decided to purchase cocktails. The drinks menu stated $19 for all cocktails. Unfortunately on payment the bar staff requested $20 per cocktail. The bargirl was asked if she had made a mistake as the drinks menu stated $19. She said its $20 per cocktail. Another bar girl joined her however never introduced herself just wanted to know if we wanted the cocktails or not, we asked if it was due to a Saturday evening surcharge. Advised no. We were told again the cocktails were $20. We again showed them the drinks menu stating there prices had changed recently. It was put to the barstaff to get a black text and change it. By this time the bar manager was standing behind one of the staff. Again no introduction. I informed them that what they were doing was illegal. With that the manager leaned over one of the staff & whispered "give it to them at $19". No apology, engagement or explanation, very arrogant. People may say its only $1, however we were on a table that intended on consuming a lot of cocktails plus there were others using the restaurant that evening. From that point we got all our cocktails for $19 however, I can't verify this for all the other patrons using the restaurant on that evening. I question how long had this practice been going on. However despite all the things that went wrong the food was very good, thank you chef and the lady whom hosted & attended our table ensured a smooth running of our event was brilliant Professional, friendly & kept things moving.
This review is only for the rooms, pictures of the room did not match the pictures on line, rooms were ordinary and not cute at all, broken tile, chipped sink, AC was loud and filthy, my husband got severe allergies three nights in a row because of the debris …and the worst that we found a huge cockroach in our room i. the middle of the night, wish we took a picture. with rooms like, selling us a timeshare is a joke. Wyndham ripping people off with their timeshare, should start maintaining their properties instead of sitting at the top of the pyramid running a scam. other than that the staff were friendly and nice. restaurant had good food, pool was great, walking distance to the beach was amazing. we were planning on visiting and staying in june again, but it won’t be happening
