Worth a visit and they do some great things for the parakeets. Plenty of undercover eating areas and good play area for kids to keep them occupied while you chill out and order something from the cafe. Friendly staff and a has a gift shop with plenty of items.
Alot of beautiful and colourful birds. Some are talkative and are friendly and love to pose for pics. You can take a walk thru the open aviary or sit at the cafe and listen to all the birds while the kids play in the kids area or get lost in the maze. My favorite was a 2.5 year old Red Maccaw named Malachi who would follow me around the cage when I spoke to him and even let me pat him.
Absolutely amazing! The ladies running it are beautiful people and the gift shop was actually affordable too which made me and my little girl very happy. We all left with smiles on our faces and an experience well never forget! It's not just great for the kids either, it's peaceful for all ages. Some of the birds really seemed to love the company of people aswell, they're well cared for and just beautiful.
Loved it! Great set up, especially the walk through aviary. Maze was great fun, kids loved it. Customer service was amazing. We went back for the outdoor cinema, definitely worth it.
What a hidden gem. We have been in Kalbarri for a couple of months and wished we had stumbled upon it earlier. Venue was great the menu was good and affordable and the gift shop was the best we have seen in a long time
An enjoyable and well priced outing. The cages were exceptionally clean and the birds were amazing. The walk through aivery was large with a variety of free flying birds. A well kept natural environment mixed with tropical plants and water features resulting in a pleasurable experience. A lovely little display of students research and observational drawing of the birds too.
This place although basic is amazing. Because its all been done by a family without any govt funding. The birds are beautiful. A lovely walk through area. And the waterfalls and tropical garden are very well done.
What a great place, we went not expecting much but spent 3 hours there enjoying all the beautiful gardens and the birds with their different characters. Such a well maintained place, a credit to the owners. The little cafe served toasted sandwiches for $5 and they were delicious.
The owners were friendly and fantastic. The birds were very well looked after and the cockys were great showman or women. Hamish the sulfa creasted had attitude and was trying to tunnel itself out.... The place looks like the sea has played a toll on some of the enclosures metal with the rust but I'm sure the birds dont mind.
It's good way for kids to see lovely tropical birds and flying about. Bring fly nets as flies were about and good way for little kids to feel a little safe from flying bugs and flying birds. Kids loved Hamish the cockatoo.
