Stopped here on a whim for dinner and it was the best decision I made all day. Staff here were really nice and although a little loud the atmosphere was really good and up vibe. The menu has a good range to choose from and our order came out in a very timely manner. The steak was close to perfect and the gnocchi was extremely good. The food coming to us from the kitchen was spot on. It was a great way to finish off a Sunday afternoon.
We had a lovely night with friends here. The only problem was the seats outside, so uncomfortable, they were like park benches. I have a medical problems, so I normally take a cushion with me, but I thought this time I wouldn't need it. Every thing else was great, the food was tasty we had a assortment of everything that could be shared, the DJ played our sort of music no dush dush and the view over the Swan River was gorgeous. There are Disable toilets, but I notice there are steps, so that could be a problem. Over all a good night.
Came here for lunch on a Monday afternoon. Not very busy when we arrived but picked up over the next hour or so. Tried to find menus when we walked into the bar area but were unsuccessful and had to wait for a few minutes while the bar tender finished serving his customers to receive the menus. Found a spot outside under the shade of an umbrella. Super nice vibe with music playing in the background. I ordered the 250g Sirloin Steak and a side garden salad. My partner ordered the beef burger and we shared a serving of the stone baked bread. The stone baked bread was delicious however it is unfortunate that it came out with our mains instead of entre. The steak was average, nothing special. Salad was a generous serve and nicely dressed. My partner thought the beef burger was OK, nothing to write home about. All in all was a good experience and would recommend coming here for lunch
I arrived with a party of 5 people, and one person ordered the pork schnitzel as a main meal, and it was underwhelming. The pork schnitzel was dry and tasted like chicken. Since we were unhappy with the dish, it was removed from the bill. The rest of our meals tasted great. I ordered the lamb pappardelle as a main, and it was delicious. The service from the waiter was excellent; he was very friendly and took his time to explain the menu to us and shift tables around for our party. There is limited seating inside the restaurant, and the environment is quite small.
OUTRAGEOUS PRICES FOR NOTHING.... EXCEPT FILTH I've been to Paris, Monaco, London....all over the world. Even in Sydney i would not expect to pay the amount I did for a drink unless it was an exquisite venue with people to watch. No style, no substance. We felt overdressed and this is supposed to be in one of the more affluent suburbs in Perth. Just came back to the Raffles Hotel....hadn't been here in 30+ years. Ordered two glasses of wine. $47.52 spent before we looked around. Two tables of patrons, a lackluster DJ and no dance floor, Went to the toilet and both of us came back disgusted. They were dilthy.let alone ambiance....never coming back again. No wonder the Rowing Pavilion is pumping....no reason to come here at all, even on a Saturday night....STAY HOME WITH GOOD FRIENDS We should have known better when we stepped over what can only be described as sewage on our way to the front door....
Nice place, great view of the river from the beer garden! You have to pay to park across the road from it and it doesn't have a pool table but I look forward to seeing it during the day for a meal might gain those extra stars for me
Unfortunately it's not so great, this is what a $21 cocktail looks like, half a glass. Turns out it comes from a premixed bottle as well. Its a bit frustrating when you get charged the full price for a cocktail that's either premixed or on tap.. most of us accept cocktails are more expensive because so much effort has to go into them, but if it's the same effort and process as pouring a wine or a beer then lower the price, but still get it right and give a full glass with the right volume of ingredients!
Just had the best birthday experience at Raffles lunch. Eight of us work ex colleagues celebrate together every year because our birthday are on same day or day after. Been doing this for about 15 years. Tony made it even more memorable and made us all very welcome and special . We are looking forward to booking our next get together which we do every month . We are going to try the High Tea you are now doing on Saturday . Thanks again for a great afternoon.
Busy time of the year, and I made the last minute booking. They were friendly and explained that what was going on and we were happy with the service. We had to ask and rush for the cake we brought but again, I do understand it is the busiest time of the year. Great drinks and food. Loved the grilled lettuce!
Wow, what a place! Headed here with my partner and her family visiting from the UK. Food was outstanding and the drinks kept flowing. The young woman serving us I believe her name was Emily was absolutely delightful. Situated in a beautiful location. I cannot recommend enough If only I could give 10 stars
