There is limited stock my son and his partner needed a new king size mattress they got the last on for an excellent price. It's worth taking a look you may find a bargain
Got a laptop on a contract that they said would match my needs but did not at all. Called them back within 24 hours and was told I could only upgrade. Be careful, and be informed as the staff will be friendly but not help you at all, more interested in getting you on ANY contract possible.
Absolutely useless. Just been in here trying to spend 600 dollars on a sound bar but no one wants to help you. One individual also sitting on the computer playing games. Also not like the store was very busy. Very poor service. Won't be returning.
they are a bunch of scamming rip offs praying on people with low income taking them for a ride with there money back scams tricking people in to renting goods at prices higher then RRP, elsewhere its the responsibility of the person renting the goods to say yes or no if it dont fit there budget but the people at radio rentals do there very best to not let you leave without signing up for goods that will only and up getting you into debt that you can get under control because they charge you a big fee for being late on your payments each time making it harder for you to get back in front they make most of there income from people who get behind in late fees and they repossess the goods sell them for near to new price or rehire them and make you payout the full cost of the contract that you defaulted on so in the end they get paid out from your contract and paid out for the items that they repossessed getting twice as much as they would of if you didn't default in the first place so radio rentals depends on you to default they set you up from the start hopping that you default so that they can make more money out of the unfortunate that they Pray on you dont have to believe me that is totally up to you
They know how to grab your money and being on a Pensioner they not flexible for those that are on a Pension. I've rang there head office in regards to my account and to explain my money goes so far as i have to pay other bills and put foof on the table and it fulls to deaf ear not good cu see that is how you lose customers i wouldn't recommend Radio Rentals to anyone.
Radio Rentals are great people with the knowledge of their products and very helpful and genuine. I've purchased a few items from them over time and all have been good quality.
I have been a customer for years when they use to hand out the rental books each year your rental price would drop. I have never missed a payment and because I was struggling a little they asked me to return my Nikon camera and zoom lens now I have no enjoyment they are not good as they messed with me in the past
I found the staff to be friendly. I went there to buy a laptop and found the prices very competitive. The store was clean and there are refreshments available. It's wheelchair friendly too.
I have used Radio Rentals several times in the past. What I have leant over time is that their purchase prices off the shelves are okay but at times a bit prices. However, their 'rental' programme is where they make the most money and is also where you pay a lot more for an item than it is worth. It isn't like layby or other low cost non-fee paying for an item over time. You can rent items over a set period with the option to upgrade. This is fine if you don't mind endlessly paying for an item and are happy to just keep upgrading to newer models without actually keeping anything. But that does mean you could be paying thousands for something over time where you could have just purchased an item and be done with it. However, if you wish to purchase an item out during the rental period, the amount you end up paying for the item will still be anywhere up to double or triple the item's worth. You can also do their new fixed term rent to purchase at the end. Again, they might set lets say a 3 year period and you will still be paying WAY more for the item than its worth. The only good things about their rental programme iare that if you have no other financial option and are desperate for something. Such as your fridge dying on you and you have no means or credit to purchase a replacement. Having said that though, you might get the item you want but again, pay through the nose over time. This massively takes advantage of people on fixed incomes with no other options. And the other thing about their rental programme which is good is that items you have on rent, they are generally covered for repairs. So if your rental washing machine dies on you, they will repair it. Of course it depends on the nature of the damage. If you throw a beet bottle through your television, don't expect much support. They do have some items at great prices that are second hand ex-rental. Some of these are still overpriced for second hand goods, so do your research. But some bargains definitely can be had. I give Radio Rentals only 2 stars because they are good for desperate people needing items they can not obtain otherwise, but they are a massive ripoff on rental agreements for how much you pay for the tiems in the end.
I went to radio rentals for a item and the staff weres helpful . And they went that extra mile to make sure you knew what you were looking for It's awful tgat all the stores are closing down. All the family's this will affect . It's
