This place was awesome. The staff were knowledgeable and the signage helpful. One of the better things I have done around the area. You won't be disappointed. I didn't pre-purchase tickets, but got right in anyway and it wasn't crowded at all. The museum it's self is very airy and was comfortable even on a fairly hot day. I say don't miss it.
Took my wife, daughters & and grandchildren to this wonderful museum. The grandchildren loved it & we plan to visit again. Due to the museum being on an active base there are security requirements that need to be completed on line & then on arrival. Great experience again. Much better way of doing the security and access pass. Lots to see , helpful staff sharing their knowledge on the displays.
Haven't been to the museum in over 8 years. Wasn't to bad, big shout out to all the lovely volunteers except one. Was enjoying our day until I got accussed of taking a book from the gold coin donation book table yesterday 16th of April by the older lady who charged up behind me in an aggressive voice and said those books are not free you have to make a gold coin donation. Which I replied I did. Instead of me interrupting her conversation I put my donation in the box and walked off. I feel she could of asked me in a nicer way and left me feeling like a theif. We were also in the middle of buying some merchandise to get some more gold coins to pick up a couple of other books. Anyway we didn't bother. Don't think We will be going back in a hurry.
