Extremely happy with my order and delivery thus far. We ordered one of the Strathmore Packages and everything came in perfect condition minus the mattress which is in slight constraint which has been communicated to me. My partner assembled everything and it’s all as described. We had some minor issues with screws there were no spares and some did break upon installation as we used a power drill instead of a manual screw driver to save some hand labour - but that’s not unusual. Yes, admittedly there was a discrepancy with delivery time. My advice is get in real early, but again this is no different to a lot of furniture places that you need to order from. I had to wait for my dining table from elsewhere for almost 2 years during Covid so again not unusual. I do have some general feedback for the business. Communication could be a little better, I had to reach out to find out when my items would be shipped and also to notify the team that the mattress was missing from my delivery. Also I received a response back asking if I had paid the balance - I feel like this is something you should be aware of so it doesn’t look awkward from the customers perspective. BUT I’m pretty forgiving - I really am happy with our purchase and would recommend shooting down to the showroom if you want to see what you’d be getting :
Terrible customer service and very poor quality products. After unpacking the Cot we purchased, I noticed massive cracks in the wood. They know that the products are defective and continue to sell them. I was given a $200 refund option we paid over $600. It took 3 months to get my refund. It took over a week for them to reply to each of my emails just to get refunded. It was a mistake for me to purchase from this place.
Communication from the company should be improved. I placed my order in Nov with the estimated delivery date of mid Jan. My order was delayed to almost mid Feb, however this was not communicated. I had to keep emailing them to get delivery updates. When the furniture finally arrived, the 4 drawer unit we received was faulty. The company's handyman took 5 business days to call me. The deluxe mattress I ordered was also not delivered with everything else and I also had to chase this up before the company and only then they explained the reason for the delay. I understand things happen but a courtesy email would have been appreciated. Out of the items I ordered I was only 100% happy with the bassinet. The cot for bub has a bad paint job done on one of the rails. The silver part of our Stirling Cot has a large dark streak going all across the bar. One of the drawers for the 4 drawer unit was dirty when it arrived, like it was covered in sandpaper dust. The storage drawer of the cot doesn't wheel in and out smoothly either. Upon purchasing, the owner is very knowledgeable in the products and she is very helpful at the showroom. The products themselves are very stylish and affordable but in hindsight, I would've paid more and ordered elsewhere to save myself the stress, as my due date is in March.
Horrible product. Emailed about the issues, and apparently according to their warranty, the following photos with the issues, were not covered in warranty as they are "naturally occurring" on timber and refused to send me out replacements. The dresser, one large draw does not close properly. 1 small draw has to be shoved in to be closed and yanked to be open. 1 small draw cannot close. Will never recommend their product. I may as well went local and stayed safe with their products rather than saving myself $200 on a head-eff. Update from 13.12.2021 Still waiting on the frame for the cot that was supposedly sent on the 22.11.2021
Purchased the Stirling Cot, Mattress, Chest of draws and Change table on the 14/10/2020 after a delay which we understood due to COVID we received the cot, mattress and the draws on the 08.1.2021. The change table went missing toll said it hadn't been scanned which arrived on the 25.01.21 after asking for another to be resent. Opening everything up to set it up, the cot looked like it had been used as it was scuffed and dirty and had been repainted, the chest of draws didn't have instructions or bolts to set up. We asked for the cot gate to be replaced and for the bolts and instructions to be sent out which we finally received on the 31.3.21. The chest of draws do not line up correctly as they have been cut incorrectly, my Dad has decided to cut it and make it fit as we are sick of the communication with the company as well as not having the baby room together as she is now 4 months. Would not recommend the company.
Apparently accordingly to them these are " natural ways of timber" After waiting near 3 months for my dream nursery, the package arrived with dents, scratches and a nail to tight the wood is split. The company offered a paint pen. Shame its not a magic wand to fix the actual problem very disappointed
We ordered from Quicky Bubba back in April the Spencer range. When ordering the website stated the goods would be available for delivery or collection from around the 29th August. We had a slight delay of a few days and it become the 4th of September. Amanda kept us notified of all shipping arrivals and delays via email, I never had to call or chase. My partner and I picked up from the warehouse in Sydney and that was a lovely experience also the lady was very helpful there. My partner has done amazing at getting it all together. I see a lot of bad reviews I feel as long as your are aware of the times displayed on the site upon ordering it should not be a stressful experience. None of the furniture cam damaged either everything is extremely well packed with plenty of packaging. We are in love with it here!
We ordered an entire nursery set of furniture and the largest pieces of furniture the cot and chest had chipped paint and dents in the wood when it arrived this is not due to the grain of the wood as implied by the response from Quirky bubba. When I raised this to Quirky Bubba I received rude responses and poor customer service. They told me that I either had to wait 2 months for replacement parts or receive a partial refund of $200. I do not believe that $200 is a sufficient refund considering how much we paid and the amount of damage to the furniture but Quirky Bubba issued the payment and closed my case without providing the opportunity for further discussion. I have been left very unsatisfied with their resolution and have found my interactions with them to be extremely stressful during a time when my partner and I should be focused on the arrival of our baby. I wish I had not ordered through this company and I will never place an order with them again. I wish I had done my research more and paid attention to the reviews on Productreview.com.au
Only if we could put a negative score.....We are extremely disappointed in our purchase from Quirky Bubba and will never buy this brand again. We purchased the Regal 3 Drawer Chest & Chest Top Change Table and there are 3 red flags... 1. Misleading Product Description On the website product description it says it's solid wood. It turned out only one side of the drawer chest is solid wood, the other 3 sides are all low-quality press wood board, even worse than IKEA grade. 2. Terrible Product Quality There are multiple big scratches on the drawer chest, not sure how the item passed QA. The drawer chest is extremely hard to assemble, due to poor quality joints, cuts, non-functional screws and bad design. The drawer runners are not smooth, the soft-close function is not working properly. We even have trouble opening and closing the drawers properly. 3. Toxic Smell There is a strong toxic smell from the drawer chest, which didn’t go away after days. It doesn’t seem to be safe for anyone, not to mention babies. We are extremely concerned such bad quality baby products are available on the market.
Purchased a cot and changing unit. Wife and I are very happy with quality and look of the product, and value for money. Fairly easy to assemble although its easier if you have your own tools like a drill with a hex key driver instead of using the supplied allen key. I did have an issue on the changing unit with putting in one of the drawers into the side rails. One of the rails got damaged, but Quirky Bubba were happy to replace the rail at no cost. Once I put in the new rail, the drawer went in easy with no problems. Would recommend!
