Exceptional Stay with Outstanding Service – Joie Made It ShinennStaying at Quest Wangaratta was a fantastic experience.nnThe hotel is beautiful, clean, and very well presented, with impressively spacious rooms and a peaceful, quiet atmosphere—perfect for relaxing.nnThe staff were welcoming and helpful, taking the time to explain how everything works, which was especially appreciated as it was my first stay. A special mention to Joie at reception, who was particularly exceptional—professional, attentive, and genuinely friendly. Joie really made the check-in experience smooth and set a great tone for the stay.nnSecurity is well thought out, with keycard access and secure parking, adding extra peace of mind.nnThe room itself was fresh, modern, and very well set up, and the kitchenette comes fully equipped with everything you need.nnThe location is also a big plus—well positioned in town and close to shops and eateries, making everything easily accessible.nnIf you’re a churchgoer, you are in luck.nnHighly recommend and would happily stay again..
Very pleasant and efficient staff. So convenient having snacks and drinks to purchase at reception. We were in town for two nights. Had adjoining room to my elderly parents and when the two doors locked, they came up and fixed it immediately. Bed was comfortable. Walking distance to Cafe and street. As its on a side street off a busy main road, it was quiet. Lovely view of church over the road. Parking was secure with code to enter. Out back gate was a large bottle shop. Bus stop right out front. Will stay here for sure if back in Wang. Thank you again.
Very good location close to the city. Secure Parking available or parking out the front on the street. The Quest close to coffee shops, supermarkets and bottle shop. Rooms and Hotel is a class above the rest very clean room and well maintained facilities including gym. I would stay again no problem.
I’ve stayed at a lot of Quest properties across Australia and generally rate them highly – this one was the complete opposite.nnThe place itself is fairly new and presents well, but that’s where it ends. The whole experience felt like management operates on the assumption that every guest is doing the wrong thing.nnI travel with a high-value bike over $10k and an electric scooter. Nowhere in the booking process was there any mention that these wouldn’t be allowed on the property. I arrived and was basically told “not our problem” – no solutions, no alternatives, just pushed aside.nnAfter already paying a premium rate for the room, I was then told I’d need to pay an additional $25 per night for parking just to have the bike somewhat secure. Even then, it’s an open-air carpark, so “secure” is a stretch – especially at that price.nnThe scooter situation was worse. No charging allowed, no flexibility, no attempt to assist. Just a flat no. I was left with no option but to leave both items in my car for three days – including a $10k bike sitting exposed in a paid carpark.nnTo top it off, staff entered my room to check I wasn’t charging the scooter. No conversation, no trust – just straight in. Completely unacceptable.nnOverall, the attitude was rude, unhelpful, and frankly untrustworthy – all while charging premium rates.nnAvoid this property. Quest as a brand is always excellent, but this location is a major outlier.
A comfortable home away from home. Cosy bed and clean bathroom and room. Kitchenette has everything you need. It was convenient to have the laundry with free powder and dryer for use. Basic gym. Friendly service. Enough carparking on the street - sucks you have to pay to use the on-site carpark.
