Charged $304 for extra cleaning, as cigarette butts were found on balcony. We are non smokers & would have like to be consulted before changing our Credit card. Cleaner needs to do clean better before new customers arrive rather just charge customers.
We stayed with Quest Wangaratta and expected it to be like all other stays we have had at Quests all over Victoria. They have a policy of $250 bond on top of the room charge. They take the money but takes 5 days to return. Very disappointing as I've never had this anywhere i have stayed.
The location is perfect and it is near the train station. Facilities are great. The apartment is modern, clean, and well-equipped.
I won't say very much about Quest except be advised that Quest will take a $250 bond and then take 3-5 days to refund after checkout. If you are happy about having Quest use your money for 3-5 days, then stay here. The rooms are basic so I'm sure there are better options available.
I’ve travelled all over the country for work, and never have I stayed somewhere where you have to pay a fee for secure parking at the hotel. If it wasn’t bad enough having to pay for it, it was made worse by the fact that there are not even enough parks to cater for all guests meaning I had to park on the street and hope my car would be safe overnight.nnThe $250 bond is also ridiculously steep.
