I have been QT hill 3 times, it's very nice and easy walk way to get to the hill,love so much.
A nice warmup for Ben Lomond or a nice running place for daily training. This is a clean track, easy to access and rather quick to do
Moderate trek and steep inclines at times but well worth it for the views along the way and at the summit! Climb baby climb!
Loved the walk up with the kids. In winter they'll love the frozen lake on top. Check out my website.
Just a note: some information available online says family and dog friendly, but in fact dogs are prohibited.
Very good walk. Amazing views . Not too hard although it had pactches of steep incline but totally worth it . Highly recommend to anyone wanting to do 2 to 3 hrs walk

Magnificent views and photo opportunities and the luge is so much fun
Great walk! Beautiful views once the top is reached. The track is clear and easy to follow. There are point of the walk that are reasonably steep, particularly towards the end. The walk takes just over an hour each way. I reccomend taking a jacket as at the top of the summit there is an icy wind that is very cold.
My partner and I are not fit people but we managed to make it to the top. It took us about an hour but when we reached there was a very beautiful view! This is one of the easiest hikes in Queenstown and I recommend doing it if you get the chance. Just remember to bring some water! Also, there are 2 different trails that lead to the top, we thought one would have led us somewhere else so we ended up walking up and down twice...
