Amazing little museum with lots of different types of transport to see. Great place for the whole family. Interesting history facts to learn about. Located in the Lockyer Valley Culture Centre and a cafe. With a Lake Apex next to it, it's a nice and easy walk around the lake. At the time we went, we had the whole museum to ourselves. Plenty of parking space during the week day. I highly recommend going to have a look at it.
This museum is inside the Lockyer Valley Cultural centre and tickets can be purchased from the information centre staff.nThe museum has a good assortment of vehicles including a few army vehicles. There are several Mack trucks on display including a 1924 model which has been purchased by Mack trucks for their own collection.nThere were also several other, lesser known brands of truck on display which was really good to see.nCheers and enjoy
A good collection of historical machinery and trucks. We were also able to see military vehicles. The trucks were restored professionaly and in good shape. Worth visiting, cheers!
It was a great display of machinery and trucks. Only took about 15 minutes to look around.nNo aircon in the display room, only industrial fans and blowing hot air.nNot worth the $8 for admission if you aren't a local. Gold coin donation should be enough.
We went to see the display of military trucks etc, not knowing there was so much more! The transport museum was excellent. Great collection. The Cafe on-site was awesome. Great food, service and pretty view of the lake. On-site there's also the art gallery. Walking tracks around the lake, playground and skate park. A cheap but great day out for the whole family!
