This is a great stopover....maximum allowed is 48hrs. $15/night. It is a really interesting place with lots of old farm machinery to have a look at. You need to contain your grey water or use buckets supplied to collect and carry away from the sites. Locked security gates with swipe cards. Toilets and showers on-site. Short drive to town.
Very interesting place, only stayed for the one night for $10 unpowered and that got us into the museum and the rest of the park. Very interesting if you like to see vintage machinery. Recommend.
Thanks so much for the 2 nights stay. A great museum and camp site. We camped out the back for $10 a night - no power. Power will cost you $15 a night. We have a camper trailer patriot and it just fits, we were in site 14. If you ask for say 15 there is a bit more room as it runs along the roadway. The showers / toilets are very good- clean and tidy. With our stay we were able to see the museum, included in our stay, which was great. We booked ahead to stay as the gates close at 1600 and you need a pass code to get in. There is a hotel within walking distance for meals if needed. A great place to stay and look around Biloela.
Great place to stay 48 hours! $15 p/n. Clean facilities, coffee & souvenir shop. Tourist information Centre. Fantastic machinery museum free admission while you stay. It's fairly close to CBD and water tank artwork attraction. Lovely hosts as well.
We loved staying here. The park was well maintained, excellent value at only $15 a night for 2 adults with water, electricity and amenities provided. Can buy food and drinks at heritage village, and for the overnight fee you get free pass to heritage village displays which we really enjoyed. We had our dogs with us and they enjoyed leisurely strolls around the grassy sections of the village. Run by volunteers but they run a very prodessional setup. Appreciated that they put people in the park with plenty of space between the vans.
Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Power n water $15.00 per night not over crowded 48hr stay. Gates close at 4pm. Showers toilets spotless.
We stayed here in our caravan for 1 night. We arrived before 4pm and paid the $15 camp fee in the museum/cafe, we were given a gate pass to access the camp ground, the site is all grass and has power and good water, we saw a beautiful sunset too. The small museum is Inc in the camp fee, so generous. We highly recommend this beautiful little spo t superbly run by wonderful volunteers. 10/10
