a really great open and super breathtakingly taken care of abundance of fornae with a small Cafe right next to Lake and a wide array of wild bird life you can sit by the water all day absorbing the tranquility and duck families regularly stroll out of water waddling right past your feet over to nibble on some grass it's really one of a kind the local council has done a tremendous job keeping it so untouched by mankind. a local swimming pooloutdoors is on the parks space, along with 2 playgrounds for kids to choose to play at a great paved walkways around the inner lake or outer side of park for different scenery and a wide variety of memorial plaques/pillars/wishing well/even oversized rock to read a whole different stories of a great many heroes and respected courageous individuals who sadly are not here anymore but their spirits forever engraved for anyone to admire. it really is a great open kid friendly or just to sit alone by the water and try block out all the current noise and chaos and get a little breathe back for ones self 10/10
Lovely park, lots of nice trees a large pondnin the middle with ducks and an awesome playground. Great place to take a stroll through and a fun playground for the kids!
There are ducks, geese, other birds and carp fish in a lake. There are more birds than some other parks and reserves in Melbourne.nnMerely walking is relaxing. You can have BBQ or picnics. Good for dogs.
A beautifully landscaped park boasting a rich and diverse botanical paradise, attracting countless bird species and the like.nnThe lake has 2 islands that are inaccessible, providing a perfect sanctuary for the thriving wildlife.nnWith 2 playgrounds, a war memorial, tea rooms, public toilets and plently of open spaces. There is something for everybody.nnMy kids love the big playground, but no visit is complete without dropping a few coins into the wishing well.nnI personally love the big old bunya pines, standing tall and somewhat majestic. It's such a therapeutic experience strolling around these trees.
Beautiful, peaceful & clean.nCoffee shop, playground, lake, walking paths, ample seating & bins.
