I absolutely loved this market! It’s the best place to find fresh groceries seafood, meats, and vegetables. It’s easy to walk around with plenty of shops to explore. I ended up going two days in a row because it’s so big and full of amazing finds. I just had to see every corner!
Friendly staff. Welcoming atmosphere.nGood for coffee, chocolate, Italian delicacy and of course the seafood. Qualities if oysters are much much better than those in most restaurants in the city i tried.nVery reasonable price too.nnThe outdoor dry goods are relatively less attractive compared to the fresh ingredients in the wet market.
Honestly there are not a lot of things to do as a tourist in Melbourne city center, but Queen Victoria Market was most definitely the highlight. It is a huge market where you can find reasonably priced souvenirs, goodies and food. The atmosphere is lively and fun!
Have many fresh fruits and produce. We bought some strawberries and peaches in March. They were very sweet and delicious. The cafes and food stalls near are also very delicious. Highly recommend to walk around, eat and have some coffee!
I had a great time checking out this market! I was visiting from out of town and there were so many good stalls to check out… food, Knick knacks, clothes, gems,… the list goes on and on. There was a really nice vibe coming from the vendors!nnI was really happy about the variety. Everyone let you pay by card, and there were lots of places to take a rest and enjoy some food!! Visit this place if you are a tourist
