We had lunch on a damp Sunday at the Queen St Cafe, in an arcade off the main street in Berry. It was great. I had the 7hr Slow Cooked Lamb Sourdough Sandwich, the lamb was tender. My partner had the Fish Tacos, 3 per serve which were delicious. We finished with two coffees and shared a piece of the Orange, Almond and Pistachio cake, which was delicious, and beautifully presented. Total cost was $80. The coffee was very good.nnWhilst we sat in the arcade, which was nice, the two dining rooms were air conditioned, and to us, too cold.nnI can recommend the Queen St Cafe in Berry without hesitation.
Everything about this place is Beautiful very relaxing and comfortable as soon as you arrive to when you leave. The food is amazing and well priced. There is something for everyone, and it is affordable in these times. We felt very safe with my 95 year old Dad as the place is very spaced out and very comfortable. Dogs are welcomed as well. The staff were so lovely You will not be disappointed. It's hidden in the back of the arcade, so it's very relaxing.nFood 5/5nAtmosphere 5/5nService 5/5 it won't let me save it where it's supposed to go so it's here.
After a very disappointing breakfast experience around the corner from here, we decided to pop in and try the cake and coffee. A very warm welcome the coffee was lovely, hot and creamy. The cakes were delicious and very fresh and came on a beautifully decorated plate. Loved the decor which gave me a feeling of Victorian meets Art Deco. We will go back to try and full meal as soon as we can. But thank you for lifting our spirits
Our breakfast was nice and fresh, however, it was somewhat let down by the time it arrived at our table and we commenced eating, at which point it had gone cold. One of the poached eggs, however, was not poached correctly, resulting in an unappealing watery texture.nnThe staff's attentiveness was impressive and the cake and tart selection was incredibly tempting, we will have to save room for dessert next time.
EXCELLENT cafe, the food was amazing, we had the king and queen breakfast, the service was genuinely friendly. Amy was very welcoming, my husband said they served the best sausages his eaten in Australia he is from the UK. Definitely reccomend!
