Lots to do and look at. Great playground for the kids. Beautiful gardens and lake. There is a miniature train that runs on the island, there is Mimi golf and you can hire boats not sure of operating hours for these. Skate park, swing bridge, deer park and you can wander through the old cemetery for a look
Since arriving in Masterton, visiting the park daily has become a habit. The lake is always a good sight with the ducks and the swans fleeting around. It is also good to have a feed in one of the tables while enjoying the scenery. On a busy day, paddle boats swarmed the park with families on it. The mini train is also a regular during this time.
Park is nice and clean not overly exciting for my 2 older boys, they were more interested in climbing the trees there is a little lake with Ducks and eels and you can hire paddle boats to go in we traveled from tawa to this park it was very average we only stayed for about an hour before the kids wanted to leave
We discovered Queen's Elizabeth Park by accident in Masterton. There is a small vintage train rides for $2 a ride. There are other facilities for kids like playground and stuff. There are eels in the creek and ducks too. We did not explore all of the park but walked around. There is toilet and bathroom facilities available.
Nice place to hang out with family and friends. Only toy train service was not operating. Kids play area is pretty good. Total worth to spend your time.
Great park with lots for the kids to climb on. Slides and swings are fun and lots of open park land nearby to go for a walk.
Lot of history. Just great to stop and watch the clouds. There is so much to see. Paddle boats for families. Rode the little train. Skate park was humming with activity. Families with picnics. Sidewalk for bicycles.
Awesome playground and children's area to keep the children safe. I remember when this playground was built and boy has it stood the test of time! It is a unique playground which has everyone's names that helped build it carved into the panels around the outside. Highly recommend visiting this playground. Has mini golf next to it and awesome swimming facilities across the road.
This is a lovely park worth a visit! There are redwoods, reindeers, flower gardens, a skate park, lake with paddle board and lots to see.
Lovely spot to walk around. Relaxing looking out to sea.
