Stayed in 2 bedroom apartment ocean view during family 2A2C holiday in Jun.nnWhat we liked:n1. Spacious apartment - the rooms, hall and balcony are very spacious.n2. Useful applicances - the dryer, washer and dishwasher were very helpful during our stay.n3. Convenient location - 5 mins walk to Oasis mall which provided many eating options and Woolsworth. Also near other eating options including Japanese and Chinese cuisinesn4. Accessibility - 2 mins walk to tram station Broadbeach which made it easy for us to travel to many places of interest e.g. Surfers paradise, Broadwater parkland and Australia fair mall etcn5. Parking - many car parking lots within the hoteln6. Near beach - 5 mins walk to broadbeach that is so pretty especially during sunrise and sunsetnnWhat can be improved:n- Can consider providing children cutlery and utensils in the apartment
Our stay was very enjoyable overall. The room was comfortable and clean, and the view was fantastic. We also appreciated the swimming pool and other amenities, which were all well-maintained.nAlthough room service was not provided as stated in the terms and conditions, the friendly reception staff kindly gave us extra linens so we could change the bed sheets ourselves. The only minor inconvenience was the parking, which was a bit difficult to find.nMy main concern is that, even after checking out over a week ago, I still have not received my $200 bond refund. In my experience with other accommodations, such as in the Gold Coast, the bond was refunded within two days. I’m not sure why the process is taking so long in this case.nOverall, it was a great stay, but I would appreciate a quicker resolution regarding the bond refund
We stayed on level 6 which is really level 2 because of the underground car park. The 2 bedroom apart was nice but it hadn’t been cleaned. Not vacuumed, kitchen floors hadn’t been mopped. Benches hadn’t been wiped. Makes me wonder if they even changed the linen or cleaned the bathrooms. So I told them around 4 times and the girls at the reception which I add were very nice said they put it in on notes. Nothing was done.eventually spoke to the boss lady and all she could say is I’m sorry and would I like them to send someone up to clean it. Well little too late because I cleaned and vacuumed and mopped myself. Didnt expect to go on holidays to do so much housework. So housekeeping are not cleaning and getting paid for it. They should have paid me instead. Otherwise good location nice pool and spa, barbecue area. Oh. Not to mention the dogs barking in two of the apartments on our floor. They need to deep clean not just take peoples money.
After reading a number of bad reviews I was a little concerned when making my booking, but short of a couple of very minor things I could not fault our stay. The location is fantastic! So easy to get around with multiple food options & a supermarket just out the front door & a very short stroll to the beach. Absolute 5 stars for this.nWe did after hours check in & it was incredibly easy with the person we spoke to being incredibly polite & helpful ensuring we were sorted with very quick access to our apartment at the end of a long day travelling.nWe had a 3 bedroom standard apartment on the 25th floor & while other rooms won’t all be the same we were lucky to get a room with amazing views up to the mountains, over the city & out to sea. The sun streamed in all day. We were a family of 2 adults & 3 children & the room size & configuration with 2 bathrooms was perfect. While the room as expected had some signs of wear, it was clean & tidy with basic but adequate kitchen facilities to allow us to make meals easily. The whole apartment complex felt clean & tidy & well maintained.nThe pool & spa was a favourite for my teenage children happily swimming in the middle of winter.nAs the apartment is self contained our interaction with staff was minimal, but any time we did they were all polite & helpful.nParking was very easy although maybe in busier times it summer it may not be.nIf there was any suggestions for improvement, having a mattress protector that was the correct size for the bed and having a more than a summer sheet & thin polar fleece blanket in the middle of winter would be good but I can also appreciate the logistics of washing & maintaining any other type of bedding would be very hard. It was only the last couple of nights that we felt cold & it was our personal preference to not sleep with heat pumps on which would have brought the temp up. Also expect road noise it’s in the middle of a busy city, nothing can be done to change that.nWe would absolutely stay here again & to be safe I’d definitely request the same room. It was great value for money & we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
