As the secretary of a specialist, trying to get results over the phone these days is ridiculous. It appears that QML have moved their call centre overseas. It takes a long time to answer our calls unlike S+N. We now need to not only verify the patient's name and DOB, but also an address or Medicare card number. We also need to give our own name AND position and which specialist we work for, as well as provider number AND fax number. Slight overkill and a waste of time when less detail should be sufficient. The irony is all these patients' details are being accessed by an overseas call centre. I resent calling QML to get results now. S+N are MUCH easier to deal with.
The communication network connecting information between staff, patients and the information required for booking appointments, preparation for tests and receiving results is diabolical. After you navigate the phone prompt options the clinic never answer so the line goes to call center which after 3 attempts on separate days have still not been able to reach the clinic to ask a basic question.nIf you have the option to use any other pathology company I'd recommend it. It couldn't be worse.nQML couldn't run a raffle with the current information and communication structure
I was receiving home bloodtest visits while ill.i could ring up an bookno problem. But now you cant get a person on the phone at all.My doctors surgery is even having trouble booking it now.Why change a good service to dreadful experience trying to seek medical support. These pathology companies are in a battle with each other. Its been going on for awhile now
Absolutely pathetic service.. wife had a serious kidney, bladder and UTI which resulted in 9 days of heavy bleeding..waited over 5 days for results to get sent to Dr for treatment.. worse thing is she is pregnant. So time is precious.
Appalling customer service particularly relating to billing enquiries. Invoiced for testing 8 months after test performed as an inpatient. Difficult to speak to anyone about resolving issues.
