We have been with QBE insurance for nearly 20 years for home and content insurance, paying premium level insurance. We had few issues recently with our property and had few claims. QBE decided to cancel out insurance after our claims. They were happy to take our money for 20 years but as soon as we submitted a claim they decided to cancel out policy. Appalling customer service. Would not recommend.
The third party team have left me on hold and gone home, so I guess I'll be on hold till they open tomorrow. I've had an estimated wait time of 30 seconds for the past hour and 12 minutes using your 13 37 23 number. Is someone going to answer my call? Edit: Turns out the 24 hour number isn't actually 24 hours, but that line will also close and leave you on hold. While telling you your made up wait time. Mine was still 30 seconds after an hour and 45 minutes. It reminded me every 10 minutes I would be another 30 seconds. I just needed an extension on my hire car. Literally a 5 minute call.
I was put through three people to talk to who are in Philippine. Half time couldn’t understand what they were saying. They just kept talking and repeating themselves. It was so frustrating. I asked the last person I spoke to if she can send me email instead and she said that she will. I never got that email and still waiting for their response. Terrible service
I have no choice but to call and pay missed payments as they don't provide a bpay option - then I am kept on hold for well over an hour EVERY time no matter what time of the day I call. This is rubbish treatment of their members.
Spoke to a delightful young man who was very helpful on phone, although I will be more impressed if his suggestion to ring and negotiate our next policy renewal has a favourable result when it expires
Can't complain about the service because they don't answer the phone. Still have no evidence of my insurance policy existing.
If you have a insurance policy with QBE cancel it and move over to another insurance company. Been almost 7 week's no claim number, car is locked up at tow company. I have spent 6 days on the phone trying to speak to someone, I've tried all the phone numbers , I've even had two mobile phones on the go at the same time, still no luck. I'm done with these clown's. I'm going to the ombudsman and getting lawyer. This is beyond a joke. 28/06/22 update.15 week's later and still no out come. Car still at tow yard no repairs done, no pay out and best of all they won't answer the phone !!! You spend your life on hold every day. Maybe somebody who reads this might have an idea of how to get a resolution.27/06/22 update. After 19 week's the nightmare is over ,QBE have paid me out. I wouldn't wish this experience on my worst enemy.
We are a small crash repair work shop. Despite having approved the payment of our invoice 4 weeks ago, the payment has not been processed yet. This is not the first time QBE lets us wait on our payment. QBE provides a fax number on their letter head that is not in operation and they do not answer the phone. I find this rather misleading and unprofessional and would like to give 0 out of 5 stars, but that is apparently no option on google.
Was a client, attempted to obtain cover note on new purchase,rang at 5pm told hours were until 7pm but would have to call back another time,not good enough lost another client how many will it take until your broke??
I was the 3rd party and my car had $3000 dollars in damages. Crash happened on the 24/02/2022 and everything was solved on 24/06/2022. Dealing with customer service and the CLAIM DEPARTMENT was a NIGHTMARE, there was an endless and meaningless amount of apologies and nothing would get done, in one opportunity I spent over 3hrs on hold only for them to hang-up the phone, I sent the dashcam footage in 3 different ways again Claim Department is useless and their IT professional "couldn't open the file" even though I could watch the footage from my phone, I read some of the law/guidelines that a car insurer company needs to follow so I made a complaint with them first, I waited a couple of days and even though I had their attention still nothing was happening. Finally I made a complaint with AFCA; in a week my car was in the repair shop. After this terrible experience I'm only giving them 3stars because I received compensation for all the inconveniences.
