Spacious and modern lounge. Less crowded. More space and work desks. Plenty of power outlets. Limited food selections like other Qantas clubs. Some of the coffee machines were broken. The guy at the reception did not bother checking me or greet me. He was on the phone and ignored customers. They didn't not monitor customers with symptoms. There was one lady constantly coughing loudly and moving around the lounge. They don't seem to care. Guess Qantas feel their staff and customers health is not important.
Large size Qantas Club with work stations, nice views, bar and food which has returned to self service post pandemic. Range of comfortable seating options. Several beers including Coopers, wine, whiskey, vodka and other drinks on tap. Excellent coffee is available and regular staff are very professional and friendly.
Good and spacious lounge with plenty of space to sit and relax or work, just the opening hours need to be looked at. It opens at 4.45am while first flight boarding at 5.20, so I don’t understand Qantas logic ? At least open 4.30 so frequent travellers have chance to grab some snack before the flight. Otherwise there is nothing to complain about. Barista fresh coffee is great idea and food options are better than other airline lounges. There is a lot of privacy here and space to find a quiet corner to work or rest
I loved the ambience and quietness here. It is large with decent amenities. Ofcourse it would get alot busier during peak times but the breakfast in nice and with variety oh oh and there is a kids play area too and office desks to rock up here to do some work
Amazing lounge with dedicated workplace. Food and drinks menu was very good. Spent quality time and would love to visit again. Very comfortable.
Not bad - selection of snacks homous, peppers, nacho crisps, beetroot salad and leaves and hot food soup, veegtable dhal and rice and you can make yourself a toastie.
Once you get past the snooty woman at the front desk who behaves like your stay in the lounge is at her personal financial expense, you’ll love it. Loads of room! Heaps of space to work and relax. Nice and quiet. Really good food. I’m gluten free and I only had to ask and they brought me some really nice GF bread. I made a huge ham salad sandwich. A lady brought around a GF cheese platter too. Very comfortable lounge.
Travelling every 2 weeks for work I see many lounges, Adelaide’s the worst by far with regard to food selection. It never changes! Breakfast is the same so-called “home made baked beans” and tired scrambled eggs with fruit salad. Lunch is similarly repetitive. By comparison, Darwin lounge food selection is extensive and always changing. How Darwin, a relatively low traffic airport can trump Adelaide is a mystery. The rest of the offerings are fairly on par with other lounges but overall, considering Adelaide’s Virgin lounge is new, vibrant and with much more to offer, Qantas needs to lift its game.
I am a transwoman I was misgendered twice by kumour abornesh and then when I corrected him he did it again , I said I may self harm and he laughed . None of the other staff suggested I make a complaint . I went to the bathroom and cried . It took so much courage to get on a plane and I have to go through that ! Never again .
What a great way to relax before a flight. A bit of bubbles and a nice feed. Staff were great. Two thumbs up.
